.338 Lapua Magnums are my favorite.
Oh, we're still talking about alcohol.

I would say a standard "shot", one fluid ounce normalized to 80 proof so that beverages with higher proofs get smaller "shots" and lesser proofs get larger "shots". A 100 proof "shot" would be 0.8 ounces, while a 40 proof shot would be 2 ounces.

I say make pitcher versions of fave barshots, and have a shot of that during said game. Less alcohol, but the same taste. I know how to turn most barshots into pitcher drinks. Used to earn the bar way more than the few shots they'd sell, and me loads of tips, because they'd be able to stay from open to close while buying food, drinks, and either rounds of pool or jukebox hits.
And no, cussing someone out is my specialty(out of impressionable toddlers and my ten year olds earshot, that is). I have the distinct pleasure of unleashing such a volley of colourful expletives, that the target, a Marine Corps drill instructor, turned crimson with embarrassment.
The Army guys doing their grocery run for the nearby base, cheered me on, and asked if they "Could have the honour of removing his unpleasant, uncivilised, ordinary jarhead keester out of my presence."
My reply? "Where's the fun in that, Puddin'?"
Nothing compared to his wife's reaction the very next week(oh, and the beaut of it was, she was also a drill instructor) upon his general avoidance of me.

While we're taking another stab at re-regathering ourselves after the latest IRL delay for our Paul, I'd like to say that this recent get-together isn't quite the first time Yours Truly has storytold on the internet before. In days of yore, there was a site called X-Entertainment, which, despite the name, had nothing to do with porn. The head guy there was one Matt C. He does a new site called Dinosaur Dracula now. Aside from usual comment section silliness, sometimes Matt would ask for more specific responses from us poster kids. Sometime In January of 2004, he asked of us to tell him a story, and we responded with various bits of whatever happened to fall out of our keyboards. Here is what I had for story time:
Once upon a time, there was a huge and slightly drunk god. He was bored out of his skull, so he decided to gather his worshippers together. They weren’t really worshippers, just a bunch of rag-tag beings from all walks of "life" who share some common interests. Poof! and there they were, assembled on the floor of his living room, confused, and looking like the cattle call for a sequel to "Ice Pirates." WTF, thought the god, at least it beats playing checkers with Nike again, she always wins. A purple robot raised his hand, "Hello? Excuse me? But, what in the name of the Sword of Omens are we doing here? And, why does the carpet smell like cat food and NyQuil?" A tall girl wearing what looked like a cross between Dark Phoenix’s costume and a Akagiyama 23 shoved him out of the way, "Yeah, what’s going on? And why…. Is that a Metroplex? Oooh…" and she wandered off. A silver guy in a torn t-shirt with "Lick it and Stick it" written on it in permanent marker came running out from the kitchen, "He’s got ChocoDiles!" Soon, all the little people were running around the place, getting into things, and hogging the remote control. "Great," said the god to nobody in particular, "Looks like I’ll have to set out traps again. No wonder I never had any temples built." th’ end.
Later on October of 2005, I had a odd fit of creativity, and posted a four part short story, my idea about the origin of the Jack O'Lantern. Some posters, and spammers got their collective undies in a Gordian bunch, but Matt deleted most of the un-needed critics, and let my story stay, nice guy he is. I might lay that over here some All Hallows, just for fun.

Is that the one you mean?

One of my favorite pages!
And DinkyInky? I am partial to the pitcher version of the red-headed slut (or whatever variation of the name is being used these days), if you please.

Not all. My carrier is flat rate $35USD/month, taxes included, for unlimited talk/text/data with no restrictions on tethering.
I've only noticed one company offering that and it turns out that the unlimited data is 4G for the first half-megabyte or something absurd like that; then you're forced to 3G (much slower) for the remainder of the month. (But at least this information is available up front, in contrast to past rumors that some ISPs were imposing similar throttling in violation of contracts and advertising.)
Other than that, everything I've seen either prohibits tethering, has a low data limit, or requires a separate data plan. Or some combination of those.
My account (four phones, usually in three different states) has a shared data allowance which I normally keep set at 4GB per month. Three or four times a year I have to bump it up for the month, occasionally by quite a bit.

No need to take off, though. See those dots in orbit around the globe on the tank display? Each one of those is an automated AI-driven weapons platform with enough firepower to crack the Earth's mantle if they =really= put their backs into it. 'Six' here is the Orbital Command Supervisor AI - er rides herd on the Platform AIs and keeps everyone on the same page, so to speak. When connected to a forward observer with the proper equipment, pinpoint strikes are enabled, using anything from salvos of high-energy phased plasma bolts to gravitic-drive kinetic mass missiles to jump-drive variable-yield direct-energy-conversion warheads. Gravitonic implosion warheads and pulsed-warp-field warheads are locked out, though - they're only for targets out in free space, using them in atmosphere gets =really= ugly, really fast.

Don't get me wrong.

I get drunk at a relatively normal pace. It's just that once I stop drinking, I apparently sober up at an astonishing rate. I'm known in my circle of friends as the "super sober" who can get drunk with them and still be DD by the end of the night.
