The usual poiting moves one's self and may carry other people or objects in one's immediate presence. We have also seen plenty people and objects poited away from one's immediate presence. More rare is the kind of poiting that teleports something from somewhere outside of both line-of-sight and immediate presence.

Which four characters have we seen perform this "remote" kind of poit?

If we are to believe jwhouk, that is what Tepoz does when he conjures up alcoholic beverages. (I'm not convinced, but for the sake of this question, will mention it anyway.)

When she was relaxing at the sand bar, Bud did not have her laptop with her. But when Stinky brought the sub, she said she needed her laptop, and lo and behold, it was there in the next panel. I'm guessing she poited it there.

Jin poited the portal cloth out of Bud and into her apartment.

I don't know who the fourth one would be. If my previous 3 are correct, then whoever gets the 4th while I'm at work can ask the next question.

Monica poited Kevin from his home to her bed. He was definitely out of line-of-sight/presence when she did it.

While I agree both Kevin and the laptop were "remote" poited (telepoited?), we didn't see it. (And to really be a stickler, we don't know if they poited over to fetch Kevin and the laptop.)

And the other two, I'm not even sure are cases of poiting at all. Conjuring beverages seem to be from nowhere, and uses a different sound effect. And the portal cloth? We didn't see Jin poit it, did we? Do we know Jin wasn't inside Bud when she took it? I'm not sure ...

Seriously, I'm impressed. You've passed by several on-screen instances, sound effect and all, and picked no less than three off-screen instances. I salute you. But you're trying to hard.

Which creates another conflict for Monica. How can she be continue to be fangirlish about someone who makes a point of debunking claims of the paranormal, when she knows what she now knows, and is who she is? Yet another cost of growing up, I guess?

That's easy. Randi works for MIB and is busy 'debunking' paranormal activities...

Yes, there are several such with sound effects and all.

But I find them for two characters only. For the other two "telepoiters", the instances I find lack the sound effect. (Which may be a hint, I suppose ...)

The most obvious one is Jin. She has the capability of not only transporting things that are out of line of sight, but parts of things. Like the markings on the tapestry, or a certain Jaguar Girl's pee and poo.

As I pointed out, Tepoz did conjure up a glass of Monica's favorite beer - and, later, an appletini for Shelly and a complete turkey dinner into Monica (he thought he took the bones out...)

The other two characters... I'd be guessing (though I suspect its Brandi and Bud).

Actually, those were just from memory. The two links just happened to have been used recently in the quiz, so it was easy to get them. I didn't actually go look for any poiting, yet.

If we can't be sure about how Kevin got into Monica's bedroom, that one time (I still think she poited him there... she said she was thinking about him...) we do know that after she poited Amanda over Lake Calhoun, she poited her back. And it's not like she could just reuse the coordinates, since she had left her dangling 20 feet above the lake, but picked her back up from within the lake itself (oops, brought some of the lake with her... that milfoil is really bad, lately, no?)

1) Tepoz, poiting in the GG's the very first time that Monica met them. i'd say that it IS a "poiting" and Paul just hadn't gotten the sound effect ironed out yet, because 9 comics later (on the 17th) when they leave, we all know it's them poiting out, but the sound is "foom" not "poit" like it is now...
2) Monica when she poited Amanda BACK from Lake Calhoun when she let her in on the paranormal secrets stuff
3) Bud when she poited in Tepoz during the Cerberus Club Bathroom scene so he could sober up Jin and Monica.
4) Jin when she poited Brandi into her house for a talk about possibly killing Monica before the CM arc closed out.
5) and The Library, when getting Nudge out of the volcano that Monica poited her into, though I'm willing to let that one slide as you did specify "POITING" and that's not "technically" how The Library does it (different sound effect and all) but if you had said just teleporting, then i say that it would count

The others have several instances: Tepoz (in the one case I found of remote-to-remote poiting, but still pre-sound-effect) poited the portal cloth out of the vault and into Bud. M also, like Bud, fetched Tepoz, when she wanted to interrogate him over the portals cloth's disappearance. And recently, Bud fetched a sundress, after going through the Mapimi meltdown. But that was the only one I found with Jin. (And no sign of Brandi telepoiting ...)

Luci let the air out of both tires on Shelly's motorcycle, which was parked outside of PunkYoga. This was in retaliation for setting off Luci's car alarm to distract her so that Shelly could go see Jacqui without an appointment, something which Luci was not willing to do.

In spite of this, Luci was kind enough to provide Shelly with an air pump to pump the tires back up.

Q: When did Monica earn her nickname?

A: Monica earned her nickname "Pechochi" from Yummy Tea in grade school, probably in the fourth grade.

While Yummy Tea did call her that in fourth grade, she didn't so much earn it (for something she did), as much as simply deserve it, for being who she was.

On the other hand, Monica has been called by another nickname throughout the series. That is the nickname I am referring to. (I didn't say anything at the time, because that was a nickname she had been given, which I had forgotten about, and the next question had already been asked - and answered and a new question already asked - by the time I saw the answer posted)

So...

I did find interesting that her answer to the riddle was indeed "sunshine", just as Shelly's answer to Phix was "the wind", and later on, Tina called her "wind-girl"... But yeah. The face light thing, with the accompanying realization, was the one I was looking for.
