(and I mean a horrid, violent, multigenerational-feud sort of vengeance.)

It'll go well with the menu selection at what Richard Lupoff described as a modern sino-Scandinavian restaurant: Swedish meatball egg foo young, Norwegian yak-butter tea, and homard in sweet-and-pungent sauce.

I hope you gave the local lady a more specific description than that - from what you've said about the area, she'd probably open a can of Chili Con Carne to fry the stuff in. (And I won't guess what she'd make of "honey sauce".)

Is anyone else having issues getting to the main wapsi square page and forums? Two days in a row, from sometime in the morning to sometime in the evening, I kept getting an error. "Could not find server or DNS error." The heck is that?

Also, I bought a new power strip, and moved three cords to it from the other one. So far, no problems with the power. The crazy thing is that I had been using that one for a while. Maybe it put some extra wear on it?

Either way, I need to get a new light switch. I'll do that when I get paid Thursday, before I get my car washed and the oil changed.

Alkarii: wapsisquare.com is hosted on a server run by Bookworm - who lives in the greater Houston area.

He has had issues in the past when major storms have hit the area, but has done his best at getting the site back up as soon as he could.

That's my guess, as well. More than a foot of rain in a day... probably does bad things to the availability of power in the area.

Go uphill until you aren't wet anymore. If there are no hills to go up, find a boat, preferably with an engine and fuel, or maybe a sail and rudder. At least make sure you have an oar. Use said boat to find a hill, then go up it until you aren't wet anymore.

Not only that, but if the rain keeps coming, it may turn out that the hill won't remain a hill too long... (If it's REALLY raining a lot... )

Heh, I bet I just pissed someone right the hell off. I was in the left lane on I-430, going abut 75 (it's 65 for the area I was on) and some idiot decided to get so close I couldn't see most of the hood of her car (unless the driver was one of those emo kids who look overly feminine). So, since someone decided to screw with me, I hovered beside a large truck with a trailer, and let my speed drop to about 70.

Now, I know you're gonna say something about causing a traffic hazard, but this person was the only person behind me for that. Although someone else they tailgated got behind them right as I started hovering by that truck.

I need to get some of those letters for mailboxes and put something on the back of the car.

I keep wanting to get one of those programmable LED message signs.

I want one of those as well, but it may be a pain in the ass to mount it in the car.

One of the single-line ones that scroll the message across - slightly larger than a license plate.

Put it in the rear window. Program several appropriate messages, control it from your phone or in-car system.
