I think we had another time skip, Castela has "chest bumps" now like the girl that was distracting Timmy a few pages back.

In the context of the thread- Unconscious , being everything Not Conscious, works.
It can include the subconscious, but is not limited to 'it only pertains when I'm Knocked Out..."'.
