Castela seems to have absolute control over the shape her body takes, capable of rearranging her biomass to emulate a variety of substances and textures, from everything between the surface of a human eyeball to a terra cotta pot and soil.

My guess is she is composed of a colony of plants that are indidually the size of phytoplankton or smaller, to explain her amazing shapeshifting capabilities. I have no clue how she is still part blackthorn if she's made of phytoplankton-like things, though.

the only person who knows is Paul... I would guess shape-changing is a 'standard' thing in wapsiverse.. Its about as natural as standing / walking properly in RL... just needs practice..
