This might actually resolve some of Nadette's concerns. She's been getting worried about Atsali's increasing aggressiveness. Now 'Sali has been given a lesson she may never forget about using violence without thinking ("Devyn and Abbie are paranormals, each perhaps capable of unleashing massive destruction. There is a bear near them. How much danger are they actually in, and should I go down there like gangbusters and beat up the bear, or just swoop down and see what's happening? And where's Nadette?"). With great power comes the responsibility of not being careless.DilyV wrote:Called it... poor atsali... she already lives her life walking on eggshells... this is a hard hit to her self esteem...Needless to say when Atsali finds out what she's done, she'd going to be inconsolable...

I have wondered abou the protocalol of your natural form. Is it polite to ask? Is it common knowlage? Is it a sign of trust to let someone know?Atomic wrote:And... hugs!
It might be time for a school assembly where everybody can Show and Tell their full, basic form!
Can't tell the players without a scorecard!
The ursamorph twins just straight-out asked Atsali and Castela about theirs within minutes of first meeting her, so either they're horribly socially gauche or else it's not too rude to ask. I'd expect that there's probably some basic etiquette about it, though. "Hey, you! Yeah, you! What sorta critter are ya?!?" might not go over very well.Jabberwonky wrote:I have wondered abou the protocalol of your natural form. Is it polite to ask? Is it common knowlage? I can see figuring some of it out from just regular social interaction. But most of the paras we know spend most of their time in glamour...

I get the impression that most of the hugs given out in the Wapsi-world would be fatal to the average ordinary human.jwhouk wrote:I think her ribs were fine until that mega hug of Atsali's...

I'm not qualified... I'm in my lower 20's. I've just seen a few of the older episodes.Jabberwonky wrote:You should shake your fist at the kids on your lawn when you do that...GlytchMeister wrote:Back in the day, a bulbous tin can with a plunger, a wisk, and an eyestalk was "special effects."illiad wrote:well really, it s the BBC's fault for dithering about putting proper 'special effects' into the program... ::/ very expensive, when trying to save money...
yep. That was the thing that made Star Wars such a phenomenon.GlytchMeister wrote:Back in the day, a bulbous tin can with a plunger, a wisk, and an eyestalk was "special effects."illiad wrote:well really, it s the BBC's fault for dithering about putting proper 'special effects' into the program... ::/ very expensive, when trying to save money...
