Well, the setting has been Late Minoan or later from appearances, so at earliest around 1500 BC (assuming that archaeologists haven't gotten things all wrong). Medusa was also apparently born around the time or after the whole Oedipus vs. Phix thing happened, but good luck trying to figure out a date for that.

The Gorgon sisters seem to have followed a growing-up process similar to humans: they went from little kids to teenagers to their current adult forms. If we assume that they went through the growing-up process in a similar span as humans do, and then Euryale and Stheno simply stopped aging at some point while Medusa kept on getting physically older, then that would make the three of them somewhere around 3600 years old at the most.

If they had really extended childhoods, on the other hand, then all bets are off and they could have spent 4000 years as toddlers or something.

I just love seeing/hearing small children say things that normally wouldn't come from a child's lips.

One time when my younger brother was a toddler, my sister and I fed him a whole bottle of food coloring in a glass of milk.

Mom's language was even bluer than the kid's diapers.

Shortly after i got out of the Navy, i worked for several months in a Pepsi bottling plant, muzzle-loading the line with crates of bottles (600/minute for the smallest bottles) or taking the cases off the other end and stacking them on pallets. I also developed a kidney infection somewhere along the way.

Our family doctor prescribed sulfa pills for it; he warned me that since the pills specifically targeted the kidneys, i could expect to see the bright red dye they were coloured with again.

We got two a break morning and afternoon, and people would head for the restrooms. The men's room had an old-fashioned trough style urinal with room for three or four at once. I gave a bit of a groan and moved backward just slightly, and guys caught this RED stream out of the corner of their eyes.

(After the first time, guys who'd been caught took to hanging back a little to let others get there ahead of them...)

I mentioned it to my sister, and she said the pills SHE got for a kidney infection were bright green.
