When I read Mon's first line, I had thought Paul had decided to reboot the comic from the beginning; you can imagine the rush of feelings that brought on (and again when I figured out I was wrong). Anyhow, Amanda never fails to put her back in her place when Mon is out-of-sorts; it can sometimes feel abrasive, but ultimately refreshing. Have to admit, though, I wouldn't have guessed Amanda wanted to be busty; looks like even the most level-headed of us isn't immune to insecurity.

I don't think Paul is going to 1up Amanda. She has an established role as Monica's ... Anchor? Something like that. Monica explicitly called Amanda her "rock". 1upping Amanda would seriously mess that up.

I'm sure someone else has already said this, but I'm only just now hopping into the forum for the first time since the holidays kicked into high gear (which means there's way too much backlog of posts for me to truly get caught up)... I'm really glad to see that M still hangs out with her mundane friends (and not just her mundane boyfriend). "Normal" people will probably be the only ones who can truly keep her grounded so she remembers what it's like to live life for each day.
