Phix was trying to raise Shelly dad in the library and had to be convinced that the library was not a good place for him to grow up. It does not mean she is not good with kids and doesn't want them around the library. Nor does that strip imply that Bia was the one doing the convincing.

Nudge is tricksy enough that I'll bet she was able to integrate her shoes into the morphing spell she uses when she adopts human form.

They just change into toenail appliqués... and then back again when she reverts to her usual form, and her feet turn back into hoofs.

Well, we first got the implication that she wore horseshoes here, and then confirmation here (in one of my favourite bits of Wapsi SIlliness...)

Huh. I just noticed. A few pages later, when Monica's almost-perfect poit landing for her and Tina swaps all of their clothes, in another of my FBOWS... one article of clothing doesn't get switched.

I still think Paul is fibbing to us about what it's for.
