Ah. Didn't know. I've pretty much given up on the Fan Art thread; i'm not reading any of the fiction, so i forget to check for Other Stuff as often as i ought.Jabberwonky wrote:As often as I peruse the Fanart thread, that one is no stranger to me. jwhouk suggested it, Shadowinthelight made it, practically the start of the Waps/MLP ponies...
Why do I not remember those??? I'm pretty sure I visited the fanart thread just as regularly back then back then as I do now ...Jabberwonky wrote:As often as I peruse the Fanart thread, that one is no stranger to me. jwhouk suggested it, Shadowinthelight made it, practically the start of the Waps/MLP ponies...

Sometimes I look back on my stuff and wonder what I was on at the time.Jabberwonky wrote:As often as I peruse the Fanart thread, that one is no stranger to me. jwhouk suggested it, Shadowinthelight made it, practically the start of the Waps/MLP ponies...

How is that odd?Dave wrote:One of the odder things I've ever seen: a Jordanian trio, in local dress, playing Scottish bagpipe music in the Roman theatre in Jerash.

It was Thursday morning. Jordanian bagpipe bands normally gig at the Roman theatre in Jerash only on Tuesdays, after lunch ("The cosmic time of the week when everything gets done", according to Dan O'Neill).Catawampus wrote:How is that odd?Dave wrote:One of the odder things I've ever seen: a Jordanian trio, in local dress, playing Scottish bagpipe music in the Roman theatre in Jerash.

Please put that on YouTube if you ever do need to implement it!DinkyInky wrote:Bagpipes are so soothing at six am...take that, you beer soaked, porridge brained frat boys!
Play your ghettoblasters at window rattling volumes at two, and I'll chase yer hangovers with a good ole dose of bonny Scotland at six!
I implement it at least twice during football season, and during Spring Break if the morons forgot to save up for a Cabo/Cancun/Miami Holiday.Dave wrote:Please put that on YouTube if you ever do need to implement it!DinkyInky wrote:Bagpipes are so soothing at six am...take that, you beer soaked, porridge brained frat boys!

The Arabs and the Palestinians are crazy about bagpipes. They have them all the time at weddings and parties and whenever else. There are probably more bagpipers per square meter in Jordan than there is anywhere outside of the British Isles.jwhouk wrote:Jordan, Scotland, Rome?Catawampus wrote:How is that odd?Dave wrote:One of the odder things I've ever seen: a Jordanian trio, in local dress, playing Scottish bagpipe music in the Roman theatre in Jerash.
Don't forget to boost the treble... and if you can pipe it through an 'overdrive', go for it!DinkyInky wrote:Bagpipes are so soothing at six am...take that, you beer soaked, porridge brained frat boys!
