Can a raging case of mono be treated with some calming stereo?

I've heard that some mellow surround works just fine, too.

In case you like reading print comics electronically (like I'm doing lately) and need a bit of fodder - the new Humble Book Bundle is full of Top Cow comics; mostly Witchblade universe related (which I always kept off looking at since it's so overwhelming, but 664 USD worth of comics for 15 (or more) USD lowers that bar significantly.)

And even if Witchblade isn't your cup of tea - you also get Sunstone volumes 1-3 for your money... *squeee*

Judging by the angle of attack, the shark was likely employing the vertical deep water ambush technique. Great Whites, when hunting like that, will swim extremely fast up at the underside of an unsuspecting seal. If the first attack fails, the seal, if uninjured, gains the advantage. Seals are fare more agile than Great Whites, and are much more likely to be capable of avoiding being renamed "lunch" if the initial ambush fails.
It's not a matter of straight-line-speed at that point... It's a bit like pitting a classic American muscle car against a little drifter... Both are fast; who wins the race depends on how many corners are in the road.

So, i wanna google something, and i'm in Firefox, so i open a new window, and, there in the "Speed Dial" app screen, is a special Google Doodle, something that looks, at first glance and at that size like pieces of sushi:

But i look more closely, and i see that it's not sushi.

It's cakes and things.

So, being curious, i move the mouse over it for the alt.txt.

Edit: Slightly Creepy Message
Yeah, sometimes Google will give me the willies with how predictive it is when I pop in and with the first letter it's got selections from what I was just looking at on other pages, and sometimes other browsers...

It's a bit creepy at times...
