That one was symbolic, I think. It was one of the moments when Tina had to face a moral question about spontaneously taking the initiative... to act, or not to act... and she didn't choke.

*facepalm* Doh! To the pun-jar with thee!

I think it was a relic of great import that was keeping her below "9000!"

Apparently I need to torque up my contributions to the Pun Jar.

Who's on first?
I mean, who's got the next question?

I believe the current open question is lake_wrangler's query here.

and I must admit I have no recollection of that particular simile. Gotta get out my syllogismobile and take a ride through the archives, I guess.

I'm guessing that demons are probably good at orgami - being the next thing to eternal they've had lots of time to practice :)

I believe so too, since she wears it for the whole story arc, except for that day, including the day before, as well as when Monica wakes up, and when both Monica and Georgette come out of Jaquar space. And it is of note that, on that day, we are seeing Blackwing wearing the choker, not merely Tina. This would therefore dispell any notion of any meaning that could otherwise have been gathered by having Blackwing not wearing the choker. In fact, even Whitewing has the choker on.

I therefore believe we can safely conclude that Blackwing without a choker was an artistic blooper, which makes the find all the more impressive, as one could not merely deduce that it would be there and look for it in the archives.

Yes indeed, I have posted my question on the previous page. And in order to save anyone the click, I will quote it again:

I knew it was Kevin, I just couldn't remember the occasion. Which, now I found it, seems kind of a weird thing to forget ...

Monica can be as delicate as a hand grenade in a minnow bucket.

So, a trivia question ...

In which Wapsi comic (that is, not just a single panel pin-up) is no female depicted nor mentioned?

(I think it's just the one. If I've missed another, I'll take it.)

ETA: Well, no, I phrased that wrong. Phrased like that, I know three, possibly four, comics that qualify. But I'm not sure how to rephrase it as I had intended, without awkwardness, so ... okay, any of the four (or ones I don't know about) will do. :-P

Here's one: Owen gets his driver's licence photo (renewed?)

Out of curiosity (and out of a desire to not go through the whole archives looking for them), would you be so kind as to show us the other ones you were thinking of? (Unless you want to keep them in your vest pocket, to pull out the same question later, which would probably be just as valid as any other question...)

Meanwhile...

Q: In a moment of introspection, Shelly states one thing that is "pretty darn important" to her. What was she talking about?

Good one; not one my original three (or four).

I'm still pondering if I could find a suitably non-awkward way to phrase the question I initially intended to ask; if I cannot in reasonable time, I'll share what I have. :)

... no, I missed that one. Repeatedly. That one even qualifies for the question I meant to ask. :-P

How should I have phrased it? The comic should cover multiple participants in a conversation, in which no female is depicted, participating, addressed, nor referenced? Awkward?

And here's the one I had: http://wapsisquare.com/comic/04212004/

Others qualifying what I actually asked: http://wapsisquare.com/comic/12232002/ and http://wapsisquare.com/comic/12272002/. And of course, http://wapsisquare.com/comic/06172002/. (Note that the non-Owen participant in that conversation is female - see http://wapsisquare.com/comic/06192002/ - so it doesn't qualify for the stricter challenge.)

And then there was http://wapsisquare.com/comic/04142004/. Does addressing Monica ("you") count as a mention? Meh. Next time I'll try to think these things through before asking. :-P

Here's a hint: said introspection has to do with commercialization.
