I'm sure that MIB could expidite the purchase of one and have it modded to Kath's needs. ((I think that Atsali's input would to be to make it 'cool', and Pickle would want it pink with glitter.) And a Unicorn.)

I can't tell you how much this project tickles me. I'd given some thought to what the Wapsi's might drive, but not to this extent.

I'm glad it tickled you, Jabberwonky so here's a bonus picture of what I think Shelly should drive it was just a quickie cut and paste, but it's ( Hint ) appropriate.

Oh, Fairportfan I was contacted by the pun jar for a reason you know.

Aaahhh! I'd better hurry and paste this then, not that the car you chose wasn't wicked cool but I thought Shelly shouldn't be left out and I started drawing this. That's a Yamaha R1 and a Roof Boxer V8 helmet. Sorry the lines are so wispy but I was planning to ink it and if I did, it would forever longer to finish.

Wdot, your car project rocks. ^_^

Cool beans, Wdot. I could see Shelly in a custom rod. I keep telling myself that I'm going to build one, one of these days...

Damn even your quickies are cool. Love the face on your Shelly, but it looks like she needs to let her belt out a couple of notches... :P

I'm inclining toward '39 or '40 Ford, but then i thought of Willys...

Fairportfan, Jabberwonky the car started out as a 1939 Lincoln ........Zephyr, what it is now I don't know, but my dad would've said, 'ruined.' ;)

Dragonaur I love your artwork. I hope you take the time to finish Shelly proper, but it is still great as is. I originally didn't do Shelly because I wanted her on a bike, but couldn't find one that I thought fit the theme. I am certainly glad you liked my project, it was in my mind for a while and I just had to do it; I wasn't sure how it would be recieved.

Thanks to everybody for your kind words and I'm glad you liked it.

Nice. We Comanche are known for great horsemanship skills, so a good bike will fill in nicely. Except, I have never been good on bikes. Even bicycles. It's the takeoffs and landings I have problems with.

I disagree with you on Brandi's car Wdot. I think an M 5 should be her car. It's sleek, professional, and hella fast(My sibling has one, and allowed me the privilege of driving it, and Dear Lord if I were 24 again, this would be dangerous to own). I know why you picked that car, but I can't see her driving anything but this car. It's sleek, romantic, elegant, and dangerous...all things Miss Brandi. Just my 2cp.

Mainly because it's on my personal checklist, but I think also Miss Jin's car needs to be a '64 Cobra with a Shelby, classy, powerful, and fast. The new Shelby customs(where everything was reinforced, and the few issues with the body and engine were fixed) are nice, but nothing compared to the solid muscle of the '64. Unless you are talking classic Viper, because the new ones are crap(I test drove several) The classic is on my list as well(yeah, I like muscle cars).

Tina driving a Dart? Really? The Demon was just a remodeled Dart, and those cars are just...no. Put her in a Barracuda like jwhouk said.

Katherine, however, can still have an older Model Mitsubishi Spyder or a Lancer Sedan without sacrificing much. I kinda hate the idea that Mom's have to get a minivan or an SUV.
I'd never get one, because I won't let being a Mother define me in stereotype, and I do not think Katherine would either. Think about it, she's a nudist, she likes her freedom. I can totally see her in a performance sedan like the Lancer, or even a Spyder coupe hardtop(mainly because Atsali is older, and Castela is no infant).
I can tell you as a single Mother, I much prefer sedans for safety and comfort than a minivan or SUV. The Lancer Sedan's are comfortable, roomy, and more than enough power. The Spyder is something for having with the older kids.
Personally, I like using my left and rearview mirrors(something you can't quite do in a minivan with a carload of kids) like I did with my old cars--and I mean real old(and we are talking about before a right mirror was a requirement, and seatbelts were optional). I have yet to find a model minivan where I could actually use my rearview when toting a carload of kids.
I've also been in a rollover with a minivan, and a sedan(I was a passenger in both), and the one where I got hurt the least and the one where I felt safest was in the sedan.

These are my personal opinions based on being a Mother...and what I think they might actually be like based on the hints of personality that Paul has placed in our view.

I completely agree with Bud owning a classic GTO(another car on my list ;) ). Monica and Phix are perfect as well.

These are just my 2cp, agree or disagree. Even still, I love the manips you did, very nice.

DinkyInky:Of course this is all non-cannon and you can have your own opinion what they drive. That is the fun of it and makes for interesting discussions. Your choices are as valid as mine.

That being said my reasoning for the Minivan was two fold, practicality and ubiquitousness. She has two children that must not stand out and you do that by blending in. Just another mother with kids and a Minivan, stereotyping in this case is stealth. I almost put Kathy in an Expedition, but again it would stand out.

Most of the mothers I know drive four door dually diesel pickups to pull their horse trailers so, yeah sorry about the stereotype; given the choice I always take six wheels over four. Bigger is almost always better, but when your time is up it's up. Twenty years 24 hr. Towing; I've seen sh!t you wouldn't believe.

Tina: There is more to Tina than meets the eye. While I love the bullet proof slant six, who knows there just might be a hemi squeezed into that so called 'Dart.' I have friends that do sneaky sh!t like that.

BMW oh how I hate thee, unless you possess a twin Boxer and go by 'Beemer', not 'Bimmer.' No. If I have to work on an exotic, let it be exotic. I suspect that it was The Director that bought the Pantera, though.

Jin: Jin, yeah, I thought about a Cobra. I just think, like Monica, Jin would want something new. But, I'm glad you liked my manips anyway.

Fairportfan, yeah I considered an Indian, but with the Redskin controversy going on I stayed away from it and because I was looking into a hidden meaning, a inside joke that only the informed supernaturals would get and of course the readers.

My problem is, I don't quite get the Merc Zephyr reference.

Then again, I associate Shelly with her Camaro and her bike (which, being from where I am, I presumed was an older Harley).

Zephyr is The Wind. What she answered Phix's riddle with and was on her shirt when she was doing archery.

Fairpointfan seems to have found just the bike! I put Shelly on the R1 since I thought she might like something fast. A classic Harley might have been more in character. ^_^

It's rather funny. The last time I went horseback riding, they gave me a very rambunctious stallion by the name of comanche. The "guide" that tried to take me on the trail got grabby hands, tried to take my reins(I was an experienced rider, but I hate saying so, because they tend to separate skill levels), and he got upset and reared up, and nearly clipped the guide. I got the reins and turned around so he didn't kick anyone. The guide made fish faces at me when I told him not to touch my horse, that I needed no help, that I did in fact know my way around the reins, then proceeded to book it down the trail to give Comanche a chance to let off a bit of steam. He was like the wind. When I made it back to the rest of the group, there was a new "guide", whose only comment was to ask me why I did not tell anyone I was an experienced rider. I told her that I told the stable-hand, but not the guide, because I did not want to go on a separate trail from my friends. She shrugged, and did the trail, then afterward, had me race Comanche before handing him to the stable-hand. I wish I could find a stable that had horses I could take my son out riding with.

When they were in their teens or so, my mother and her two younger sisters used to go riding on the bridle paths in Cleveland's so-called "Emerald Necklace" park complex..

One time, one of my aunts (i think it was Jane) got a horse named "Steamboat".

I don't know about nowadays, but into the mid-50s at least, there were some places in the area where the road crossed the Rocky River (i think) on a ford - a concrete slab that the water ran shallowly across* - and apparently the bridle paths did the same.

They got halfway across and Aunt Jane discovered why her horse was named that...

=====================

* There were railroad-crossing type gates on each side of the fords that could be closed if the river got too high after rain. Then you had to go 'round.

Hmmm... I'm a little puzzled. But googling horses and Steamboat I get this very interesting article...

This symbol has been a part of the University of Wyoming Athletics Department since the early 1920's, when UW Equipment Manger Deane Hunton obtained a photograph of a cowboy, Guy Holt, riding the world famous bucking horse Steamboat. http://www.gowyo.com/trads/steamboat.html

Might this be related?!
