Here's a link to a larger and, somehow, more satisfying version.

you're living on a bus?
or did you mean living in transitory housing, ie, temporary housing?

Blackwing Tina! (Blackwing, Blackwing Tina!)
Cloud of steam and she appears, unable to tell lies!
Who's that covey of demons behind those silver eyes?
Nobody knows for sure; grouches are out of luck, here comes...
Blackwing Tina!

EXCELLENT re-scripting of the theme. The version you linked to seems slightly (?) different than the one used in most of the series eps that I remember.
But, I've had a stroke since then. Sill an awesome re-script.

Yeah, living in transient housing while I'm moving from one base to another. I just refuse to label myself a transient. Mendicant, maybe, but not a transient...

Heh, thanks! And you're correct: That theme song is a bit different from this one, which is the intro for the episodes on DVD. The intro I linked to previously was apparently only used for a few months in 1991, when DWD premiered.
ReijiThePhantom wrote:When the Disney Channel first aired Darkwing Duck in March 1991, they used a slightly different opening compared to the current version that's been used for the Toon Disney airings, the DVDs and videos, the Disney Afternoon, etc. Instead of the more jazz-based theme that people were familiar with, they instead used a more rock-based theme song. Disney continued to use this theme until the show was moved to syndication as part of the Disney Afternoon in Fall 1991, after which the current theme was used, and has been used since. Enjoy the original version of the popular Darkwing Duck theme song!

Groo? As in Groo the Wanderer?
Now there is a name that takes me back more than a few years.

Heh, I kinda took the ball and kept running with it.
I didn't forget Tina's mask, it was a conscious decision to not cover her face. I used the mask color for her choker jewel instead.
