This sequence has seemed pretty traumatic for some people, I felt it was kind of necessary to lighten the mood like with the exploding cigars.

When I posted my comments concerning Friday's strip in the daily discussion area, I considered adding something along the lines of "Wow, I think Paul has finally come up with one that's so emotionally loaded and intense that nobody is going to try to re-script it."

I should have known better.
