My Son: Yeah, but please have an indie make it, because Hollywood churns out dogfood...and no, Avengers and a lot of Marvel doesn't count because Joss Whedon & Co. makes awesome...

My two cp...Pixar could pull it off as a CGI live action, but I've only seen once where all the big animation houses ever agreed to cooperate, and I'm sure they'd not give majority to Disney just for use of the big guns.

Burton could pull off the campy style, but most of the talent required would most likely be unknown and if Hollywood pays for it, they'll change it for their whims, so again like my son said, let's not let Hollywood get their talons into it and churn out dogfood.

I am in agreement with you and your insightful son. Hollywood would make a pretty picture, but it wouldn't be Wacky Racers.

So, since little girls become less so frighteningly quickly, and the image on my card was from Easter 2014, i decided it was time.
 
This time, instead of using an image (or images) selected from shots i already had on the computer, i decided to take a picture specially intended for the card.
 
And here's the winning design:

I'm supposed to go to lumber and get a raise, but I seem to have been put on an indefinite wait to do so.

So I'm thinking that I'll sneak into the ASDS's office, and shrink wrap everything. Even the pens. Individually. And then I'll put them back in the pen holder, and shrink wrap that. And her chair will be shrink wrapped in such a way that she'll be able to sit on it still.

And, quite possibly, a legendary ex-employee (involuntary variety).

The person you're thinking of pranking might not be responsible for the "hold" on your transfer. Whether she is or isn't, she might not have a sense of humor sufficient to excuse what amounts to vandalism. Even if you don't get fired, there's a fair chance that you might end up putting yourself right at the bottom of any list for transfer to a better position.

It's up to you, of course, but you might want to think twice about the risks you might be taking... burning bridges, pyrrhic victories, and so forth. A more constructive response to the situation could pay off better in the long run.

Well, for the past couple of months, an associate manager and two department heads have been on her every day to move me into that department. She said we needed replacements for me on the lot. We've hired four, and three are already gone. She's also supposedly already got replacements for those guys. I'm gonna ask her tomorrow what the deal is. If she keeps this up, I'll just get another job. Hell, I almost did before this whole thing started, but held off on it because I actually believed I'd get the job. Fact is, by the time we get any new guys on the lot, she'll also have hired new people to fill the position I'm supposed to get. It wasn't even my idea, either. The former DH asked if I'd like a full time position before he transferred, and things snowballed from there.

What makes this more irritating is that every time I've made a move to get a different job, they dangle the hook again. I'm telling her that I've been patient enough. If the next schedule update puts me on the lot again, I'm gonna look for another job.

Nope. Several of his sites use that name, so I decided to run with it. He does get a charge out of my son calling him that though.

My brother has twin daughters - about thirteen (?), i think, these days. He adopted them from Cambodia.

I mentioned that someday they were going to be sixteen.

He allowed as how that was okay "... I have two shotguns."

My eldest from my first marriage was dating a piece of dogmeat for a short while... I guess some girls just HAVE to date loosers on occasion... he came by when I was cleaning my custom tactical Rem 870- laser sight, extended mag, 20" barrel, heat guard. He asked what it was for- I looked right at him and in a stone cold voice said-

"... varmit..."

... he never came back.

I used to run interference for my overly picky Mother. When my siblings brought their prospective dates over, I'd be sharpening the cutlery with oilstones. Only the brave(or suicidally stupid) ones that had ulterior motives came back. They deserved the fright they got.
