Arnie'd be PERFECT as the HULK.

Place that up in a high cliff above the sea, so that its shining wonderfulness may be seen by every ship which passes.

'Twill be makin' a brilliant beacon bacon Bacon.

(I'd have suggested locating it in Georgia, but alas, Macon isn't a coastal city.)

And vice versa, of course. (Although the levels involved are different.)

I think a gobble search on Macon Bacon would turn up a fairly not safe for work set of images....

Eh, it's pretty tame. Even with no safe search. The most disturbing was a picture of a live pig sniffing at some strips of bacon.
The least expected was a picture of the Engineer from Team Fortress 2. I did not see that one coming.

For those who might not recognise her, i thought i'd say that the current avatar (as of 16 April) is Ashley, from El Goonish Shive, who is on her first date with Elliott, after having a long-distance crush on him for a while.

In the previous panel, she was telling him about her out-of-school interests, in the same pose. In this panel, she has just heard herself say that she dances soccer and plays ballet. BSOD time.

Image

(This is Panels Four through Six from a 3-tier, two-wide page)

It is generally conceded over on the Misfile forum, that Ashley's only competition for "adorkably cute" would be Hanners or Claire, over on Questionable Content.

It is also believed that crossovers between EGS and QC Must Not Happen, because Ashley in a single panel with either one of the other two could possibly be a critical mass of cute that would wipe out Western Civilisation As We Know It ... and all three together could create a Cuteness Singularity that might well destroy the Known Universe.

Comment over there on this page (from our own Shadowinthelight): "I see tutus with many grass stains."

Reaction to Title.
...*reads the actual article*
Reaction to actual article.

Tampons are one of those really McGyverable things. Not quite on the level of duct tape, but it's pretty high on the list.

For use in science, aces. For it's intended purpose, excessively dangerous and disgusting.

Heh.

Over in an early Misfile page, Ash (turned into a girl by a slacker angel's Celestial Filing Depot screwup) has been a girl for 28 days. (If you're not at all familiar with the comic, the same angel's screwup cost her two years of her life - from high school senior to sophomore, and an early acceptance to Harvard.)

First encounter with the Monthly Visitor:

An old description got me into that one years ago.

"Cars, girls, and pot-smoking angels."

TANGENT! I think it's funny that CNN's medical correspondent suddenly said that pot is healthy and that the DEA lied about it after he was staunchly against its legalization for even medical use. And now the guy has a show about it on CNN.

Not that I'm saying you should smoke it, though. It's your choice, and if it's illegal where you live, be really careful if you choose to do so.

Two vultures were sitting in a dead tree, when suddenly all of the other animals came running by in a great stampede.

One vulture called down "What's going on?"

A bear paused just long enough to shout "FLEE! The humans are having another great war!"

The vultures laughed raucously. "For a hundred thousand years, we vultures have lived well off the wars of the humans" said the other. "Let us go and find the feast the humans have prepared for us."

So they flew in the direction the other animals had come from, seeking the conflict ... and were vapourised by a ten megaton nuclear blast.

And the moral is, things can change in a hundred thousand years.

I just tossed this one out on another board - which weighs more - a pound of gold or a pound of feathers?
