And it's not sure exactly which is stressing him out more, to be honest.

I took fairport's comment to mean less about Pablo and more about US, as we've been known to fill in the down time so as to avoid a Wapsi Vacuum.

I've been trying to generate a little sourdough starter, here and there, but not too many bites, so far...

Yes1, and kudos on that. When I came across it you'd posted up the first two parts and I wanted to reply- but I didn't want to interrupt.

Well done btw.

Oh, my bad, I thought this was in the daily board.

The rest of us authors are slowly working on stories when we can. I’ve just moved to a new apartment and gotten a car, and I also have a boatload of insurance and related crap to deal with. Others have their own things going on too.

RL has been very much in the way for a while.

Yeah, I've been jammed up with work (technically working right now, actually :? ) and weekend crap with the ancestral property. Haven't looked in for a few days.

I'm dealing with the wife and kid being in Detroit to clean up after my FIL's death, trying to build a new server to move all the hosting to, and a variety of needy customers - as well as trying to get people to pay me :)

Baseball bats are great for that last one, if you’re not too scrupulous. :P

I must protest that particular slander.

The North American cricket bat (Myotis gryllidae) isn't a bone-breaker at all (except purely by accident e.g. during an energetic game of rugby). Like most bats they're generally quite beneficial, chowing down on crickets, grasshoppers, and other large insects... farmers are much in their debt.

In fact, the cricket bat population in Utah had as much, or perhaps more to do with the miracle of 1848 than the seagulls did... the two species worked in day/night shifts and the grasshoppers never had a chance to recover. The gulls got all of the credit, though... I suppose they had better publicity agents than the bats.
