Maggie's Flower
This is growing in a pot sitting on the back fence.
Maggie watered it yesterday, but when i showed her this picture she was surprised - apparently they open FAST.

Cute.
A very nice way to teach kids about responsibility while also teaching them to slow down and appreciate beauty.

Just be careful getting your face too close to the center of the the flower. If you hear clicking or see the head turn slightly, back away immediately!

Now see what you've done! I was reading some of the quotes from the Star Trek episode, and found them so funny I just had to watch that episode again... (Good thing I have the episodes on a hard drive...)TazManiac wrote:My Mom loved Sunflowers, but you guys are making think of a certain Star Trek:ToS episode & Larry Niven's book 'World of Ptavvs'.
