Aaaand . . . we're back!

(Confirmed by the character list, too, since that's Timothy, not Dustin.)

. . .

Now we wait for the other shoe to drop.

Well, as I rather expected, the Rule of Funny did require Daylla-1 to collide with one of her gang when she reappeared.

And, alas, Daylla seems to have been mistaken in what she told Dustin. It appears that Timmy isn't any tougher than Dustin is, when it comes to being impacted by a high-kinetic-energy 310-pound metallic para.

That's a 310 pound para dropped from altitude, she was over his head when she reappeared in our reality.

They are all way way tougher than i would be. Hit me with 310 lbs of metallic para and i would be screaming dial 911.If i lived that is. Also thinking this is going to lead to questions from Scar like why are you setting half dressed on my boy friend?

The question in my mind, at this point, is "How many continuities/universes/Dayllas are there?"

It has to be at least two. If one of Daylla-1's musings was correct, there must be at least three (but that's perhaps inconsistent with what one of the Dayllas told [one of the?] Dustin yesterday).

Conceivably it could be four.

Five is right out.

and the secret, of course, is that Daylla-2's "cellphone" wasn't a cellphone at all. It was a Holy Hand Grenade.

Two is an impossible number of universes, if there's more than one then it's infinite. I wish I could remember which physicist said that, but I remember it from the late 70s early 80s. I had kids but they were too young to talk to about infinite universes.
