Yeah. Talk, that's it.

Nothing to do with you, Pickle.

Gah, she's hulking out!!!

(THIS is why Daylla is playing these games. Nothing short of jealousy and rage is going to get Pickle to ever admit her true feelings, even to herself.

Hopefully nobody gets hurt along the way...)

Castel exhibiting a scary amount of bicep development this strip. I feel sorry for Kath having to cover the destroyed uniforms bill.

Daylla has yet to learn a very important rule in life: do not, in any way, ever offer any encouragement to kudzu. Even if it's just a few latent little kudzu genes in your best friend's chromosomes.

Once it gets going, there's no stopping it.

Given our nickname for her is it to much to wonder if she turns green when she hulks out? One should also notice not a single flower petal to be seen

Think its a little late for that. Shawna done crossed the line into the personal space of not Pickles boyfriend.

Yeah, however I am contracturally required to use the phrase at every opportunity, given my surname.

J. W. Ho from the UK?

I don't see the connection between "Ho" and the Incredible Hulk...unless Santa Claus got bombarded by gamma rays recently.

Joseph W. Houk, thank you. (HOW-k. I'm American, not from the UK.)

I was called "Houkster" constantly in high school.

I must be too young to understand the reference/explanation.

It's two fold: first, the quote is from the TV series with Bill Bixby, about the character The Incredible Hulk. Second, the term "Hulkster" is from pro wrestling's Hulk Hogan, who was a popular WWE/NWO star in the 1980's.

Well, with the first name of "Thor", I'm afraid I have no understanding or experience on how people can associate cultural references to one's name.

Interesting. I always pronounced it (in my head) in French, so to speak, which would make you more akin to Captain Hook than to the Hulk...

Even now, with the correct explanation, I have a hard time replacing my ingrained reflex...

I find it both embarrassing and amusing that I always thought it rhymed with Herr.

Y'see Thor, it's like this.

Our friend Joe is a man of many convictions - and one of the things he stands strongly against is eating other humans. As a matter of fact, his confreres in the anti-cannibalism field refer to him as...

{Deep breath}

The Inedible Houk.

Hence the similarity.
