Like the torn-out piece of hair in that first panel. She better watch it or her senior picture is going to look like she's got straw hair...

I saw her kata's in the park
The fire dancing around
She didn't seem to care
She turned and smiled at me
Just then I knew (I knew... I knew... I knew... I knew)
She's scary deadly! (deadly... deadly!)
Flowers in her hair,
and Tiger underwear!
She's got it in for you,
she's got it in for you.

Pretty damn brave of Daylla poking Castela's trigger like that...
You know that light at the end of the tunnel?
Yeah... it's a bullet. Sorry.

Does Dayella know about Castel's blooms when she's hormonally active?
I ride my bike to ride my bike, and sometimes it takes me where I need to go.
Re: Like Something 2017-10-25
I'm pretty sure she'd have guessed it by now. I'd learn that the flowers of flowering plants contained the reproductive organs, so she may see this as Castela's version of a "lady boner."
There is no such thing as a science experiment gone wrong.
Re: Like Something 2017-10-25
One wonders whether Florel® might be of use? Maybe add a bit to her hair gel in the morning?
I also recall that flowering behaviour in certain plants is controlled by day length. Perhaps spending her evenings under a sunlamp, to mimic the long days of summer, might inhibit those pesky blossoms from forming.

I am fairly sure that Kath has had the birds and the bees talk with Pickle but i do wonder if she touched on butterfly's. One could not have a better wingman than Dayella it seems.

I'm wondering if it ever happened before she met human-shaped Hiroshi. Castela did seem to make the connection pretty fast when she saw them after waking up that morning.Opus the Poet wrote:Does Dayella know about Castel's blooms when she's hormonally active?
I also wonder if she has any control over what varieties of flowers bloom. A rafflesia or a titan arum blossom could be interesting.

For sufficiently stench-worthy values of "interesting".Catawampus wrote:I also wonder if she has any control over what varieties of flowers bloom. A rafflesia or a titan arum blossom could be interesting.
I'd be more likely to suggest that we may see a repetition of one of the classic tropes: the traveling butterfly salesman and the farmer's dodder.
