So "Timothy" was picked up by the recorder. I wonder what the conversation will sound like?

Perhaps that room was unused for such a long time not because of some tragedy that happened in it, but because prank-loving ghosts made it too inconvenient to use.

Hmmmm . . .

Poltergeists are frequently associated with adolescents . . . usually female adolescents, but given the role reversals in Wapsi Squared, this time it might be with Timmy . . .

Which might explain why Mervin "looks" and sounds like Timothy, and if it's the kind of poltergeist that avoids its focus, that might also explain why Mervin left.
