Yeah, and probably no better than half right even with that estimate.

Timmy voice confirmed doubleplus! Perhaps a departed uncle or other close relative?

What, why's his percentage of certainty going down? Does Timmy not know where he is at any given time???

The ghost needs to step up and explain himself before Scarlett gets ticked.

And he's different than most of the male half of the race for what reason?

I am 53.0000000000000000000000000537% sure that Scarlett's cluelessness is rubbing off on poor Timothy...

At his age, it's a lot worse than earlier, and a little worse than later.

Precisely.

Actually, he seems to be improving . . . Scarlet has been immunizing him.

Yep you're describing a classic: 50/50 90/10 situation... given a fifty fifty chance, ninety percent of the time you get it WRONG!...

Ok, now I'm a bit concerned about Scarlet's spacial awareness. Even if the Ghost of Timothy Not sounds just like Timothy, he was speaking to her from behind at ear level. Maybe she thought Timothy was standing on a chair? lol. Nice fake out. I was pretty sure she had some Ghost Whisperer secret.

Take into consideration that ghosts don't have a physical voicebox, so the voice could have been emanating from a height consistent with Timmy. Another way to have fun at Scar's expense.

Did she (or they) actually hear Not-Timothy or did they just think they heard him?

That negative speech balloon suggests something especially odd about Not-Timothy's speech . . .

And it seems like Castela and Daylla could both hear Not-Timothy as well, since they didn't react to Scarlet's half-conversation.

Had a weird experience like that myself a year or two ago. I live in the middle of a block of rowhouses, on one of the main streets, so there's often a lot of background sound from traffic, as well as activity in the adjoining houses. One day, in broad daylight, in the second-floor hallway, I heard something that registered for all the world like someone whispering not quite intelligibly just behind my right ear. (My better ear; hearing loss and tinnitus are more marked in the left ear.) Got no idea what it really was (probably mixed noise that the brain interpreted as speech), but I'm pretty sure it's one of the things people have experienced as hearing a ghost.

This arc reminded me of that.
