It's cute, but there's something not quite right about it... I think they should have placed each successive image a little more to the right, on the laptop screen, As it is, each image is pretty much dead center, but we are clearly seeing the primary laptop from a slight angle.AnotherFairportfan wrote:

Job related rant: Some of the people who call for cabs must qualify as 8s or 9s on the Mohs density scale. They surely aren't 10s, because they're nowhere precious enough to be diamonds.
Re: More Stuff
What do they do?... they make the driver wait? You'd expect that, at the high end of the scale... a "9" would certainly make a car bide.AmriloJim wrote:Job related rant: Some of the people who call for cabs must qualify as 8s or 9s on the Mohs density scale. Well, I'm probably going to lose this job, too. They put me at the fastest machine that is set up for retail, with the most complicated assembly process so far, saying that's how people learn. How the hell can you expect to learn when something is going far to fast, and you can't even tell when you've done something right that saves you time, so instead of repeating that, you do something different the next time, and fall further behind.
And apparently, everyone else had less trouble keeping up with the fast machines, so clearly I'm far too stupid for this job.

So this is what being a senior citizen feels like.

I don't think you're really a senior citizen, until most of the places that give senior-citizen discounts say you are old enough to quality. I don't recall any that kick in at 50... some at 55, 60, or 62, and almost all by 65.
The only exception I know of, are a few areas in upstate New York which have local laws that define "senior citizen" at a much younger age. Some are as low as 39... that's one of the bennies of going to Rochester.

If you're physically ill or otherwise debilitated then that's one thing. Calendars are bloody useless chroniclers, and should be ignored except when there's an advantage to it.
Other than a bad shoulder (which I'm having treated) and a pump issue or two I refuse to slow down. I just bought a bike (bicycle) not long ago and am going to start enjoying riding again in Spring (see shoulder). In short, you ain't a senior citizen unless you want to be.
