I think maybe Atsali should be a guest speaker at the club, or maybe Nadette?

It cuts down a lot on ticket sales if your guest speaker walks in the door, stiffens with shock, looks wildly around at nothing you can see, turns pale, screams, and flees. It's not much better if they just pass out, or rediscover some split pea soup.Opus the Poet wrote:I think maybe Atsali should be a guest speaker at the club, or maybe Nadette?
For some reason, people tend to demand a refund when that sort of thing happens. Even worse, they give you a one-star rating on Yelp. Word of mouth can be hell to get past.

1. You could try, Scarlett, you could try.
2. If you're that freeked out by this stuff, is this the activity for you?
And, Pickle: Pot, Kettle, Blackthorn.

JSStryker, the link needs to go to the specific comic, not the base domain. Easy error. Right-click on either comic title below the artwork to "Copy Link Location".

Funny how the traits that people pick on in others are often the same traits that those people have themselves.
Perhaps they could invite Tina, Nadette, and Tsillah's parents over to see the room?

Well given that Pickle has never taken any kind of offensive move against Scarlet she could very well think she is vastly more powerful than her friends.

Scarlet better be careful, or she just might learn that ignorance is not necessarily bliss, after all...oldmanmickey wrote:Well given that Pickle has never taken any kind of offensive move against Scarlet she could very well think she is vastly more powerful than her friends.
Unless, of course, Dayla has started bragging about Castela... Sure seemed like she was going to, as impressed as she was with Castela's demonstration...

Given the way that kids that age brag, would Scarlet believe what Daylla said?lake_wrangler wrote:Scarlet better be careful, or she just might learn that ignorance is not necessarily bliss, after all...oldmanmickey wrote:Well given that Pickle has never taken any kind of offensive move against Scarlet she could very well think she is vastly more powerful than her friends.

I forget. Was Scarlet one of those present in the school hallway when Atsali, realizing that Castela was talking to her friends about what she and Nad' did together romantically, became a blur, picked her big mouthed little sister up, and slammed her into the wall so hard the concrete shattered as a 'suggestion' she not reveal things she shouldn't? Because while that wouldn't show much of Pickle's offensive capacity, somebody who could take that kind of punishment with only minor discomfort isn't someone you can punch out.oldmanmickey wrote:Well given that Pickle has never taken any kind of offensive move against Scarlet she could very well think she is vastly more powerful than her friends.

I'm pretty sure that not only was she present, but she was the one who didn't leave quickly enough to avoid the teacher asking for an explanation... ("I didn't do it! It was like that when I got here!")eee wrote:I forget. Meanwhile, Castela needs to constantly remind herself that she essentially lives in a world made of cardboard...eee wrote:I forget. From her perspective, I'd have considered it to be damp construction paper at best...

On FB, Pablo wrote:Bringing this up as it was a question from a fan of Wapsi and others may be curious. Scarlet is scared because ghosts are still an unknown even for paras. Monica can travel to the land of the dead, as well as Thymbris, and Charon. But as far as anyone knows, the dead can't come back to earth. It's a mystery as to what ghosts are in the Wapsi universe.

Isn't Cartoon Logic amazing!! here he can totally slam a "bad guy" thru what, like 5 complete buildings, then downward into the "conveniently" empty street below, and create enough shrapnel and falling debris to rival the 9-11 collapse of the Twin Towers... yet Supes is STILL gonna get the "Keys to the City" by the end of the episode... (before anyone asks, no i have never seen the full episode in that clip, so i could be wrong, but... i'm probably not... )lake_wrangler wrote:Actually, I was referencing this...Atomic wrote:Obligatory: "Man of Steel, Woman of Kleenex"Alkarii wrote:From her perspective, I'd have considered it to be damp construction paper at best...
