Daylla is actually shocked because now that rock is a statue of naked Hiroshi and Castela doesn't realize it yet!

Castela rocks out. (Exit pursued by a pun jar.)

I'm guessing that Daylla was not aware of Pickle's actual power level...

Then again, maybe you want to catch flies... are you related to a Venus Flytrap, by any chance?

Shall we invoke the memory of Rudolf Walter Wanderone Jr. and call her "Minnesota Fronds?

I wonder what she saw wearing those glasses? By that i mean what the boom ball looked like. Also if Daylla had to wear eye protection and Pickle did not need it does that mean she had it built in?

It's possible that Castela's eyes, being structured rather differently compared to ours, are not affected the same way ours would be, and it's also possible that her eyes are not structured the same as Daylla's.
There is no such thing as a science experiment gone wrong.

Considering that Castella thinks nothing of sitting up on the roof during a thunderstorm, and being hit by lightning repeatedly (Kath asked her to move around occasionally to keep the roof from being scorched), I'd guess that her eyes are probably as resistant to plasma-flash as the rest of her is.
Re: All Balls In The Corner Pocket 2017-09-19
Sooooooo... Is Daylla shocked that Castela can shoot plasma, or is it the newly Plasma-carved 50 foot tall, naked, anatomically correct Hiroshi Statue that has caused Daylla's jaw to unhinge?
You know that light at the end of the tunnel?
Yeah... it's a bullet. Sorry.
Yeah... it's a bullet. Sorry.

Having just watched the partial eclipse through "eclipse glasses" I have to ask: Wouldn't whatever the goggles she has on to protect her eyes from intense light keep her from seeing everything else? If so, Castela telling her to look at the big rock would not be very helpful at all.
Re: All Balls In The Corner Pocket 2017-09-19
In desert sunlight she should be able to see a little bit once her eyes adapt.
Taking those off, OTOH, it going to hurt!
For comparison, standard welding lenses run from about a #2 up to about a #16 . . . a #14 is considered about right for eclipse viewing. It's a little unusual to find a shade that dark in what appear to be gas-welding goggle, which would normally peak around a #6.
