(Dang . . . ninja'd by seconds!)

"Poor Sweetie" is an interesting reason . . . I wonder what Skylar's mom or other relative does to trigger that reaction? That does sound like Skylar knows from experience . . .

The fact that Katherine is currently "troughing" with Castela's principle might mitigate any concerns with a same-sex relationship... but there is something to be said about two individuals manipulating the situation like this, and it ain't good...

And Atsali seems to have won the "My mom is worse because" contest.

Now that we know they're in Tokyo, the interesting backgrounds make more sense. I wonder if they have a Japanese or Western toilet. if the former, I have been told you can do it face forward, or face back, but don't do it face down...

You do understand the severe social consequences to citing a live URL to that particular image, do you not?

For the love of God (or Goddess, Cthulhu, or Flying Spaghetti Monster) my friends, do not click on that link. Not on G***se, if anyone posts a link to it. We don't have a Library portal here to erase it from your memories.

I wonder how many poor sweeties she will get when her aunts are introduced. Not to mention Tata Phix.

So far, Skylar's mom has only appeared as an off-camera voice... we have not yet seen her.

Being Accepted 2016-12-09 - Asking Skylar if she talked with school counselor about grants.
Meeting The Deadline 2016-12-10 - Telling Skylar she didn't miss the art scholarship app deadline because she filled out the app on Skylar's left-logged-in computer.
In Your Faves 2016-12-13 - Justifying filing the app "to save your future. ... As to that fetish site in your faves, that explains why you go through so much toothpaste."

Ummm. Yeah I'm gonna say it, another use for toothpaste is fine polishing the paint of model cars. Colgate used to be the best back in the '70s, back when I was making cars. I would have to check the forums to find out what the current brands of choice are. I know from experience that Crest dulls the surface of a model car paint job, or it did back in the '70s.

The fluoride in toothpaste has grit properties. On most flat/smooth surfaces it can remove ink stains, though it does leave a dull-ish finish on clear or opaque surfaces.

I would hope that the toothpaste gag is something about "cleaning your gear" and not... well, scatological in nature.
