Pablo has essentially stated that Pratt is pale skinned, so that pic is a bit off.

Also, for some reason I can't help but have the random thought you should go by J-wonk since it sounds like a funny rap name.
Yeah, Derpy looks like how I'd be as a shark...
Until just now, my Rap Name was going to be DJ Chili-Mac...but I like J-Wonk, too...

Absolutely love that Shelly v Alligator cartoon too! Well done!

FYI -- I've updated the Wapsi Color References to include Pratt and McBride. And a bit more.

The emblem is from a police department in Minnesota I don't know if there is a prison there. The font is

Like in the Dresden Files TV show where Murphy is different from the description in the novels, the actress playing the part in "Pratt and McBride" doesn't match the description by Paul. It's a TV show for crying out loud, don't expect reality... ;)

GIMP 2.8 pngs

Post by Jabberwonky »

Dave did some serious looking at pngs made with G.I.M.P. 2.8 and after he gave me the rundown, I did a little experimentation. If you save bmps and pngs with the 'save transparency color' switch OFF, they work fine.
He mentioned something about 108 character headers but the random play on iToons started 'Heffalumps and Woozles' so a lot of the next few minutes were filtered through me singing that while reading...

Thanks Dave!

They confuzle me...

Edit: glaring spelling errors (I think I have woozles in the keyboard)

Thanks Dave!
Glad to be able to help out, Jabberwonky!

And thanks for the neat image of the beasties! I do love those imaginative beasties. Heffalumps in particular. Even if they aren't actually capable of sweetening my coffee properly, I still love to see them... heffalump is better than none!

Quit Stalin...

Post by Jabberwonky »

Okay, I did this to amuse myself.
The way I see's it, the Wapsiverse has a lot more magic energy just layin' around. (Measured in Thaums, thank you Mr. Pratchett) It appears, to me anyway, that the key component to working with thaums is mentally directing them. Anyone who is in the thoughts and minds of people, the more famous the more minds focused, get a lot of these loose thaums directed at them. So the famous, and infamous, can get a magical boost from the gestalt pumping thaums into them. Someone like Stalin would have a LOT of of that. This could sponsor his move from wacky evil leader of a Godless Communist country to a low level...lich? Ghoul? Boogey?..MIB steps in to give him a job to help level his karmic imbalance...next thing you know he's a mid level manager in the Memphis F.B.I. office.
I really should get out more often...

shadowinthelight saw BBQ sauce, I saw Halloween chocolate...(it was his vision that brought on 'Hot Wings' though)

Thanks, but the commentary wrote itself. I just searched Google Images until Tsillah pointed out her work to me. The third movie is obvious but I was wondering if everyone would recognize the other two.

1. Nosferatu
2. Not a clue, but apparently a Paramount production.
3. Finding Nemo
