... "Tie Me Down..."
(Deposits one very overdue Blockbuster VHS tape into the Pun Jar...)

now that that's out of the way;

Hey, it's only Wed (30mar2016) and we're already getting a Friday/Sat Pin-up...

Lastly, I think Atsali needs to pay the Marvel Universe a visit and speak to Reed Richard's tailor (re: uniforms made from Unstable Molecules...)

Yep.

Pin-Up Atsali is more confident and assertive than Daily-Comic Atsali.

I think it would be more like: "OK, put your finger here. Now, put a finger from your other hand here. Oops, I seem to have tied up your hands, AND made your top WAY to tight. And, you know that knot I used it the kind that you can't untie for at least 30 minutes, sometimes a couple of hours, for reasons. What WILL we do till then?"

Consider the dive-bombing pin-up from a couple weeks back. That is NOT cluelessness.

I suppose.

The point i was originally making is that Pin-Up Atsali seems a bit more confident than Daily-Comic Atsali; i was sort of wondering just how canonical the pin-up type pages (like today's, or the one in which Atsali apparently is breaking the fourth wall) are...

Yeah - but the rules seem to be different for at least some paras - we know that drinking ages are.

Perhaps some paras are fully mature at age five or so.

{Over at "Mysteries of the Arcana", Chrystelline, who would be an elf if elves existed, is almost eighteen; before the beginning of the story, she had dated Williams, who is essentially a seven foot, upright jackal, and a seasoned warrior. I'm pretty sure we've been told that Dog Boy - as Theresa calls him - is about four years of age. (William calls Theresa "Man Woman...).}

"17" probably isn't a relevant number in this situation.

Under Minnesota law, the age of consent for (hetero) sexuality activity is 16. Those older than 13 can legally consent to sex with a partner who is less than four years older than they. And, it appears that there isn't actually any valid statute in Minnesota state law which specifically defines the "age of consent" for same-gender partners, so (per the Supreme Court decision in Lawrence vs. Texas) the same rules would probably apply.

And, whatever they might do on the island might be entirely outside the scope of any effective civil law... I don't think we've been told whether there any government which claims the island, or if it has any permanent inhabitants.

So, unless Nadette is younger than 14 (we don't know how quickly ursamorphs mature) the two of them are probably on firm legal ground as far as state law goes.
