Like a fizzy gin sour crossed with a very dry gin martini, and a hint of violet.
Cherries pulled a bit of the sharpness in, so they had a sweet, dry finish.

I love experimenting. Bad thing is, I'm almost out of gin. I've had the bottle since July, so having a quarter bottle is not too bad all things considered...

Quarter a bottle gin? Surely you can afford better gin than that!?

You're funny.

I've a quarter bottle left. One fourth of a full bottle. I've consumed 75% of it.

I paid nearly $50 for it, and that's cheap!

How big a bottle? I think Sapphire was around $30 for 750 ml when I was at the state store last month.

Two Bombay Sapphire martini glasses came with it too, so no, not really. I love their imaginative glassware, and get it when I can. I've got balloon glasses, tall tumblers, and now these. I used to have more, but that's another tale. Once I can rebuild my china hutch, I'll start collecting them again.

My ex and ex roomies either stole or broke everything personal to me, and I'm not saying more than that.

Do you have address and somewhere you can be that will work as an alibi?

Karma has for the most part caught up with them, and as fir the rest, time is their own worst enemy at this point.

I googled up a descriptive picture of some Mount Gay Barbados Rum round bottom glasses (it's always more fun when the bottom has a little curve to it...)

Since it's a really big picture I'm only posting the link;

https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/73 ... 6a80d1.jpg

btw- they wobble like Weebles, but they don't fall down.

I think I have five or six in my commemorative red and grey Compaq* 386s debut/rollout duffel bag, safe and sound.

Best would be drinking on a boat and letting the swells rock the glasses back and forth.

While listening to Barbadian Music...

*The first personal computer to make use of the 80386 was designed and manufactured by Compaq
(We rolled them out @ Levi Strauss & Co prior to any other big corporate entity do similar,

I diverge this far because Google searches can be a very strange thing...)

I know I bookmarked it, but my spastic memory put it in the background. I need to order it, I love Lars work.

My son too, and if I'm at all honest, me too. Need to get it soon.
