Before. (If you haven't seen HEAD, watch the whole clip. It's worth it.)

IIRC, he did say that he woldn't have Internet service until the 22nd... and I sorta expect that means "business hours, during a window from 9 AM to 5 PM, unless the cable guy is drunk in a ditch somewhere, in which case it's later."AnotherFairportfan wrote:* cricket * cricket *

heh heh... UK 'domestic customers' actually get treated a lot better than businesses!!! The company I work for ( a large 'charity' - we are in a massive tower block, 5 floors up..) was given the go-ahead By H.O. to go 'full speed broadband' 3 months ago - due to their antiquated system, they cannot use anything 'nice' like T1, ISDN, etc, etc...
ADSL will only work with their system, but we can use 'cable BB' for other stuff like standard internet, etc...
Applying for it was easy enough, just need to wait for 'wayleave'... month later we get a confused call saying it will be difficult, they need to dig up the road outside, and then route a cable all the way up... so pictures were taken of where *their*( 5 or 6 companies use them here!!) cable enters the building from street, cable in ducting in building, cable going into a vacated room, just next door to our office!!!
no replies ... weeks later a confused guy turns up, talking about how much work would need to be done, 'ground up' .. we point to the cable end, that used to go to the vacated office...
Latest is for some reason we need to pay a lawyer £££ just to connect that cable!!! If it was a BT line/ phone, no problem, but.... ( it won't do the 150M bandwidth needed...)
