Nonono, She was totally serious. She has plans for him to help with dessert by being the dessert.

Yaaay Bud. I missed Bud. I'm still rooting for her to get a few moments of happiness with what she wants... Before the inevitable Whedon'esque twist that's sure to follow.

One can often glean hints about upcoming storylines from the art posted for sale at eBay - for instance, currently Bud with an ice cream cone.

My dad is almost 86, and he still bitches about old people.Dave wrote:It's so cute that someone as old as Bud, who has been around so long and seen and done so much, can still fluster herself so easily.
In a strange way, it gives me hope for my own future... I can't avoid getting older, but damn if I want to ever turn into an "old person" attitude-wise!

The Fourth Doctor once said something along the lines of "Just because you've grown up, there's no reason not to be childish."

If Kevin hasn't gotten the obvious by now, that might be the only thing that would bonk him wif a clue by four... a T-Shirt that says "This Bud's For You!"shadowinthelight wrote:"This Bud's for you"oldmanmickey wrote:Nonono, She was totally serious. Yeah... it's a bullet. Sorry.

Seeing his expression in the third panel, I think he knows. Looking at Bud in the second and third panels, I think she knows too but is trying to avoid admitting it to herself.
You should be reading the Wapsi Square Wiki.

Yeah, but that extra goaty goatee he had was a real scorn magnet. Without it, he attracts about 95% less scorn.eee wrote:Oh, sure you can! You'll just have to do it about things other than his not-a-beard.

Re: Help Me Out 2015-05-07
A good thing, too. With the U.K. having gone through what was apparently the worst "nobody trusts any of the people running for office" elections in, well, forever, and a U.S. presidential election gearing up, the supply of high-quality scorn just isn't keeping up with demand in the marketplace. The price of scorn has skyrocketed over the past few weeks, there are lines forming at the stores, and if this goes on I doubt that any of us will be able to afford to scorn Kevin, Monica, or even Thymbris.Thor wrote:Yeah, but that extra goaty goatee he had was a real scorn magnet. Even a subtle expression of disdain may be beyond our means.

...
(I'm a little confused about why Monica is number two on the people to scorn list...?)
