Well at least the girl's honest!
I'm not 100% sure what happened there, but it would be appear to be a rapid ejection system judging by the fourth panel.

Smart girl...
You know that light at the end of the tunnel?
Yeah... it's a bullet. Sorry.
Yeah... it's a bullet. Sorry.

I wonder what the cover story will be this time? And who will issue it?

I think it's the anti-matter containment field releasing.Akeche wrote:I'm not 100% sure what happened there, but it would be appear to be a rapid ejection system judging by the fourth panel.

Re: Dead End 2015-02-25
oh well, there go THOSE Moxana Points's... i do hope the A.M. Bomb doesn't do TOO much damage to Mapimi... though I'll say it again: we still DON'T KNOW that they were really, in fact, ACTUALLY there! they could be in the jungles of Peru, or the Gobi Desert for all that it matters, as we have not seen anyone say that THIS place IS the SAME as the place that got BLOWN UP by Thup. we are just ASSUMING it is... granted, Occam's Razor means that we should go with that, until proven otherwise, but still... if it WAS the same place, then how many Rem's did those two absorb in the time they were running around there?

well i am only sure about two points. Point A, the bomb went boom, bigga boom. Point B, if i were about to die i would rather have my face there as well. 40 or so years ago even if i wernt about to die.

Well, looking at the bright side of the situation (and no, I don't mean the actinic glare of an antimatter bomb going off at close range)...
... Atsali may not have to worry too hard about the possible survival of golem/chimera technology at that particular location.
That's hoping, of course, that Atsali is in any sort of condition to worry at all about anything ever again.

You know, Nadette, it would be a lot easier to hold on, and a lot easier for Atsali to hold on, if you--I don't know--used your bleeding powers for something other than wardrobe changes?

I can only assume that Nadette found the Martin-Baker... but how much will be left behind to examine? (of the site, not the two girls)... meanwhile, what severe scolding will these two face after THESE shenanigans? And will Dietzel ever be returned to normal size? And don't forget Bud's got the lonelys (as well as Tina). And will Crickett get her act together?
... stay tuned...

Maybe something to do with either a shuttle launch sight having a catastrophic failure, or illegal rocket/ICBM experiment failure. Either that or nuclear power plant meltdown.My2Cents wrote:I wonder what the cover story will be this time? And who will issue it?

An adaption of Project Orion (space propulsion by nuclear explosions). Uses the anti-matter explosion to propell the escape capsule to safety.AnotherFairportfan wrote:I think it's the anti-matter containment field releasing.Akeche wrote:I'm not 100% sure what happened there, but it would be appear to be a rapid ejection system judging by the fourth panel.
