Vodka makes everything go better. Is she watching Jerry Spring or Loony Tunes?
Now at leisure I can also say: Is shelly being sarcastic, or is she winding up to breaking Bia into several pieces?

Ambush questions are fun. Watching the mental impact of them as they distort, or crumble, opinions based on faulty logic.

I don't know which made me laugh harder... a pie-eyed Tina, or Bia's new headband decoration.

Daytime TV looks to be a whole lot better in the Twin Cities than it does in DFW...

I think Tina is going to run up quite a liquor bill, since she doesn't have to worry about her liver and can sober up, or avoid a hangover, in under 1 minute.

Oh, my. There it is. Generally parents use That Voice to their offspring, rather than vice-versa...
Why is Tina drinking so much?
Could it be that she can't go back to work for a few days because Becky, who has a pretty good idea how long it takes to get over the flu, might get suspicious ... and drunk seemed preferable to bored?
==================
And how is TIna different from those characters? Perhaps Tina does NOT want to be human? (Shelly could have included Jim in her list, i'd say.)

nope I think She has found 'feeling human', and how alcohol affects it!!!
I'm not sure she has even thought about Becky yet... expect a bit of fun Monday...

Including Jin would have hashed up the "other than being a real entity" clause, as she's just as real as Tina.AnotherFairportfan wrote:And how is TIna different from those characters? Perhaps Tina does NOT want to be human? (Shelly could have included Jim in her list, i'd say.)
And, Tina is different than the others, in that she's the only one of them that Bia has been tampering with in some way. Shelly's phrasing is a "j'accuse". It's her tighten-the-vise-slowly version of a "Harcourt! Harcourt Fenton Mudd, what have you been up to?"

Mentioning Jin would have eliminated another possible answer to the sphinx's riddle: Tina has already been human.Dave wrote:Including Jin would have hashed up the "other than being a real entity" clause, as she's just as real as Tina.AnotherFairportfan wrote:And how is TIna different from those characters? But as we've seen, riddles can have multiple correct answers...

Poor Tina looks and sounds a bit PSYCHOTIC right now. At least she can go to work Monday and tell Becky about that

So happy to see Shelly interacting with her mother despite all that went on. Not blanket forgiveness, perhaps, but advanced tolerance at least!

Sweet Jeebus, yes! Daytime weekday TV is abominable. Even worse than Sunday programming I think.Opus the Poet wrote:Daytime TV looks to be a whole lot better in the Twin Cities than it does in DFW...

Kinda sounds like the voice you use to convince the dog to get in the car for the vet. Daytime tv is much better when intoxicated. Hell tv in general is better.

Which begs the Question... Exactly what did Bia do to Tina?
You know that light at the end of the tunnel?
Yeah... it's a bullet. Sorry.

I was a tiny bit disappointed that Bia's headband wasn't more like a certain green-haired woman's headband.Dave wrote:I don't know which made me laugh harder... a pie-eyed Tina, or Bia's new headband decoration.

Wait, does yesterday's comic mean she could "reboot" herself sober within a few seconds if it was necessary?
Re: So Much Better 2014-12-12
That seems to be the implication.
