As oldmanmickey said, you have already seen their true form... take a bear, give it 'human' face and hands... that's about it.. :)

It's all up to Paul of course, but for all we know their "true form" may be that of ordinary bears.

I suggest that when you're BORN a shapeshifter with that level of versatility, your true form is whatever form you choose to have as your true form and use by default.

Which would mean that even identical twins could have radically different true forms, an individual's true form can change over time in ways other than reflecting age, and some individuals might not have a true form at all for years at a time.

Or not. I just realized that "ursamorph" is an anagram for "orasmurph". Do we have any idea what their fur color is?

Probably only as a flashback, to when they were a lot younger and (proportionally) more furry.

"Assumes facts not in evidence, your honor."

We see them with boobs in their first appearance here, but they make it clear within the next couple of strips that they were simply doing a burlesque on some of their former school-mates. While speaking to Atsali and Castella they revert to a flat-chested appearance.

After Atsali has her unfortunate "tight chest-wrapping isn't a good thing if you like to breathe" fainting episode, Berdine formats herself a "pert little pair" to keep Atsali from feeling like the only boob-ish member of the trio, while Nadette chooses to remain flat-chested.

So, at this point, we really don't know whether ursamorph females are "naturally booby" (as humans are), or whether their natural form simply has teats/nipples (as is the case with bears)... or "Choose C, none of the above."

I caught that from your first post... if I were a better artist, I would've whipped up a panel with Pablo chasing an elusive 's around his studio.
While I do not claim to be any kind of artist, I still took the time to whip this up...

To be truthfully, they're not actually wearing any cloths in that strip.

and quite probably, they haven't worn clothes ANY time we have seen them

Um, *obvious* boobs are a *human* thing... have a look at a pic of a female bear vs a male bear... I think you will have to look very close to see any difference!!! :/

One time, someone wrote in to Wizard Magazine (I think) that while watching one of the Star Wars movies, he realized that Chewbacca was pretty much nude all the time. And, when he isn't directly talking to Han, he's just yelling out, "Hey! Check me out! I'm starkers! Nude, I tell you! Full on NAKED!" I've never seen the movies the same way ever since.

well, actually he is not nude, he has long thick fur covering everything... for them to wear 'clothes' would be like you putting a *second* set of clothes over your clothes!! :P
and 'nudity' is a concept invented by people who think it is wrong...

go to the depths of africa, the natives there have no reason for clothes (except for latest fashion!) , it is warm enough - search for 'wild african natives' - you may have to reduce your 'prude' setting though... :/

Of course, I'm sure you meant El Goonish Shive... Something from which I had to forcefully tear myself, after having followed your link...

Nice Uryom avatar, by the way...

You obviously haven't talked with Sam the Eagle about that.

I spent most of the first fifteen years or so of my life wearing at most a blanket and a rope, and often considerably less. You find that such basic acts as sitting down in the wilderness can have an added bit of excitement when there's nothing between your sitting-down parts and whatever you happen to be seating yourself upon.
