(I'm pretty sure there are no more than 5, but I am willing to be surprised by your answers, provided conclusively corroborating links are provided.)

OK, I'm guessing that no one has had the time to go through the archives looking for those instances. That's understandable. I will give you a clue for two of them:

In two instances, her chest is not the only thing that gets hurt. In fact, in one of those two, the chest being hurt is actually not mentioned, but the way that she incurs the other injury(ies) makes it hard to think she did not also hurt her chest.

Hm. Right now I can only find four:

1. Monica Bounce! (Not a *real* response, but it applies)
2. I CAN'T BREATHE! (Interesting to view in light of what Atsali went through)
3. Nailed her boobs running after Katherine
4. Note to self: do not do braless pirouettes. EVER.

That's a good start, but ...
jwhouk wrote:1. Monica Bounce! (Not a *real* response, but it applies)
Like you said, not a *real* response, since it is all in Kevin's imagination. Besides, there is no mention of hurt, just bounce... Though admittedly, that bounce *could* be painful. But it's still all in his mind, anyway, so it does not count as an instance of Monica hurting her boobs.
jwhouk wrote:2. I CAN'T BREATHE! (Interesting to view in light of what Atsali went through)
Interesting.I had not thought of that one. I supposed the case *could* be made that the pressure on the chest would also be painful, besides the breathing difficulties. I guess we can count that one, if no one finds the other ones...
That is one.
That is another.

Hints for further discoveries: one is in a guest comic, one is where she is "greeted" by someone (a very friendly someone...), and for the last one, think "rugburn"... I really can't give any more hints, without giving the whole ball of wax away...

Well, there were the two from the Islands-go-boom incident... one the floor-burn "skreeee" slide you are probably referring to, and the second where M crash-landed on top of Jin after the rescue-poit, shouting "Owie ow! Fother muck!".

In the second of those it isn't necessarily certain that her boobs hurt... but since she and Jin had just been proximate to the explosion of a sea-mine I would imagine that everything probably hurt. The belly-whopper on top of Jin couldn't have been comfortable, either.

That would be, indeed, the "rugburn" incident, where we definitely know she hurt her boobs, among other things, from the marks that were left on them.
Dave wrote:and the second where M crash-landed on top of Jin after the rescue-poit, shouting "Owie ow! Fother muck!".

Indeed, this would be more of a Monica-hurt-herself-all-over type of situation. And it does not fit the remaining two hints, namely the guest comic, and the really friendly greeting... Besides, that's more of an extension of the first one you mentioned: if you look, she's still marked up from being hurt the first time around with the volcano, before they hit the sea mine.

Actually, now that I think about it, I don't think the mine actually hurt them, so much as they hurt from the fact they landed on each other while already hurt from before... Although the explosion may have given them the equivalent of a really bad sunburn, before they had time to poit away. Either way, I don't think this counts as hurting her boobs, for the purpose of this question.

I don't think so. If we follow the next few comic strips, we nowhere see her holding herself as if she had hurt her chest. She is troubled, agitated, upset at being used as the clown car, but not hurt physically.

She's not even holding her head from the spike being put in there, which makes me think that it did not leave a physical mark. Remember Shelly later calling it the "spike in your head that's not really there"? (Or something to that effect...)

I stand corrected: upon reviewing the remaining instances, I realize that the over-friendly gesture was not during a greeting, but a conversation was already going on... But it was still an over-friendly person who unintentionally hurt Monica's chest.

it's late and my google-fu is weak, but i know there is one more: the (possibly a guest) strip where she's dancing the Time-Warp and after she does the pelvic-thrust portion of the dance, and bangs her face with them, she goes into Mucho Mocha the next day with a black eye... if she got a black eye, I'm sure her breasts haven't escaped damage either.

YES!

Incidentally, I'm searching for that link, as I seem to have misplaced it... but that is definitely the one I was referring to as being hurt while on a guest strip.

Only one to go, where an over-friendly person inadvertently hurt Monica's chest...

Well, Brandi gave Monica quite a painful squeeze... but from the location of the painstars the next day I got the impression it was Monica's back which took the brunt. And I'm not sure "overly friendy" represents Brandi's state of mind then...

Aha. It was Euryale's second hug that did it.

Indeed, her lower back was most likely the target of the pain.

So...

jwhouk got two of my original ones, plus one I had not considered as a possibility.

scantrontb got one.

Dave got two, including the final one.

Do you guys want to fight it out, or do I need to assign the next person to ask a question?

I would suggest that when a "list" answer is posed, the one getting the last answer should get the right to the next question.

So I'd say it's Dave's question.

And if you come on on the proof with no clue of the prior comics:
  • "Tepoz told me the girls are locked away."
As if M didn't know where her girls were - ha!

And if we've learned anything from Shelly, this week, it's that context is everything... ;) :D

So I'd say it's Dave's question.
Well, OK. Here's one I don't think has been asked yet... please correct me if it's a duplicate.

Q: Name the alcoholic beverages that have been consumed or mentioned in Wapsi Square. Maximum specificity in each case: brand and variety if possible, type of cocktail if possible, and the generic category only if that's all that was described in the strip.

No, that question has not been asked.

Out of curiosity, do YOU know how many instances of drinks have been served, throughout the run of the comic, and have them listed somewhere on your computer, in order to know if or when the question has been fully answered?

Meanwhile, I'll start the ball with:
Echidna Martini

Earlier, in the same story arc, a mojito is mentioned.
Earlier still, in still the same story arc, mojitos (plural) are mentioned.
Still earlier, shots were done by Bud and Alan.

There's also the first time we see Tepoz, where he conjured up "Monica's favorite brand of beer" (no more detail than that is given).

When Tepoz returned from Utah, he gave Monica some pulque.

At the biker's bar (Sally's Bar), Monica orders a Lionhead Porter.

Nope... I know some of them but not all.

I suggest that we wait until the stream of answers stops, and then the person who made the most correct answers (with links) gets to ask the next question. If it's a tie, the two contenders each start consuming the drinks they identified, and the last one conscious gets to slur out the next question 8-)
