"Come get me" in demon space, which Monica has access to, perhaps?

I sort of wonder if Monica's Jaguar Girl aspect might be related (either as a result of or as a cause of) her being left open to the demon realm after her death when she was fourteen.

My guess is that it wasn't Monica's "come find me" instruction that enabled Georgette's demons to exit. Rather, it was Monica's original entrance to Georgette's quantum demon-space which "punched a tunnel". Her entrance was (I think) possible in the first place, only because she's the Jaguar Girl... that power seems to come with the job, according to what Guidance said.

Her "come find me" instructions may well be what clued off Guidance to the fact that she and Georgette's other demons now have a previously-impossible freedom of movement and action. From what Guidance said before, I imagine she's aware that this brings a new responsibility (and danger) as well... don't mess up other people, 'cause the sphinxes will getchoo!
I agree that the only reason that Monica was originally allowed entry into Georgette's Demon Realm was, indeed, only because she's the Jaguar Girl... but... as Monica is ALSO The Demon Shepard, i believe that it is WELL within her power-set to be able to compel Demons to do her bidding, similar to Tina's Compulsion powers, though in M's case they only work on DEMONS, not humans... as well as, I'm am sure that shed be able to UN-lock their quantum state from a "host only" mode to a "free range" mode, that would thus allow them to BE able to leave. whether any of them DO or not would be left up to the Demons themselves, similar to how Tina's Demons are portrayed... they typically stay inside Tina unless they *need* to go out for some reason, but most just stay inside in a comfortable well-known location, i foresee the same thing here with Jet... Guidance will probably be one of the only ones who comes out with any regularity, and Dogbunny will most assuredly come out to play as we've just seen, but I'm not sure we'll see too many more of her Demons coming out. To me, i think it's too soon for any of them to want to risk going *outside* of their host right now, due to how they were treated by the Tar, and they won't want to risk anything like it coming back in with them again...

@GlytchMeister: i've never read those series, so i couldn't answer you, but i don't think it's so much as a structured rules kind of thing, it's just that AS the Demon Shepard, that is her power-set and abilities thereof... just like how Pickle is able to kill Fae seemingly without any effort... it's just who she is... both of them may not WANT to abuse that ability, but they can't just ignore it either...

Heh. Usagi's first master, who was killed in battle was named Lord Mifune. The stories also feature "Lone Goat and Kid", Zatoino, the blind swordspig and a lot of other Good Stuff.

Stan Sakai (also the colorer on Groo the Wanderer) researches Japan of the period meticulously and works a lot of real history and legends into his comics. (Usagi has crossed over wit the Teenage Mutant Turtles more than once, both in comics and animation.)

Any fan of Japanese culture in general, more specifically samurai films and most precisely Kurosawa needs to check Usagi out.

EDIT: Cool Usagi Pic

Usagi works with the local prefect to solve some nasty killings:

Inazuma ("Flash of Lightning") in her first appearance:

Inazuma after the Bad Thing happens:

Do i need to say anything?
A pic, posted by Mr. Sakai himself, that he received from Mike Mignola at the latest Comic Con...

And now I want that crossover so hard! :geek:

Stan Sakai had a demo at the Baltimore Comic Con a few years back. While discussing his inspiration material, he mentioned a large Japanese ogre type character in various folklore. He was using this to sort out a Hulk/Usagi crossover a'la the Usagi/Mutant Turtle things he's done.

Still waiting -- sigh...
