You could say that.

You could also say that today i was supposed to be out of class at 11:50AM and I didn't get home until 8PM due to having a dog here for surgery and my day to do it being tomorrow.

I'm totally bushed -crawls on a pedestal, snores-

It took me an hour of searching on Google to find just the right dragon and just the right flamethrower shot...

Last thought for the day. Who caught Bia? Is she still falling?

Thank you for investing the time, effort and talent! Definitely good for a prolonged chuckle hereabouts.

I'm having trouble coming up with a proper caption for it, though. If the flames weren't flaming, it could be "Stoop 'n Poop". If the fire was directed in a more conventional forwards direction, it could be "Filet Mignon".

I'll keep working on ideas, less'n somebody stuffs me into a certain jar.

One thing I've noticed in the art regarding Phix. Since her big pig out, she looks a lot more feral, even in the third panel of "Plunk", when the rage has idled down and the thinking part of her brain is kicking back into gear. She doesn't resume her normal cultured, put together appearance though. She still looks primal, and a whole lot like Shelly, whose Sphinx form is straight up feral. (I'm kind of wondering how much trouble The Apos actually gave her toward the end of her stay in the forest, CLG or not.)

I think Nudge's accusations in this arc probably do have some merit. Phix maintained a cultured, sophisticated air that allowed her to be more approachable to people like Monica, but that same demeanor allowed her to keep her distance emotionally from her friends as well as herself. I think Nudge saw her trying to go back to that mode of emotional detachment as a defense mechanism and was having none of it. She knew that Phix retreating into herself would be self destructive and harmful to those she cared about. So Nudge kept the rage boiling until it burned all the self pity away and left a purer version of Phix. That Phix went out the window after Nudge validates Nudge's strategy. And it seems Nudge didn't have a backup plan after all. She was counting on drawing out Phix's basic desire to protect her friends. She bet the farm and won, so to speak.

Hence the "Squeee". And Phix's expression is definitely one of "I know it was for my own good. I know it needed to be done. But I still don't like it."

Phix looks absolutely disgusted.

What I'm wondering about is that building second from the top right, which looks very much like a nuclear reactor cooling tower.

Hmmm.

A thaumaturgical reactor cooling tower?
It would explain where the extra energy from the Golem's physical actions go.
Burn up the thaums and power the Libraries.

I'm still trying to spot the hall and tower that Nudge bailed out of. I think I see Shelly's rock on the island just above the left corner of panel two. That island dosen't seem to have any structures, but has bridges leading to it.

So, if those three Golems dare to take a restful vacation, and the Library suffers a power shortage and the staff begins to get chilly, they just send Brandi and Bud a message to "Get your thaums out and just do something, will ya!?"

I believe the library was actually the one building in the upper right of the top frame.
