yeah, unfortunately quite a few of them are in the newsrooms of the worlds media outlets, whether they are video, radio, or newspapers...

politicians doubly so... or maybe their PAs or advisers... :roll: have you seen 'yes minister' ??? :roll: :roll:

RL MP here in Somerset, UK, where it has record floods for weeks.."oh! I hear it is a bit wet there... " :? :? they have been campaigning to dredge the main river for 15 years, that would have moved the floods away properly... :evil: :evil:

I have on occasion referred to the Pacific as "somewhat moist".

The ocean, yes. There's also the Pacific Northwest, which has rainforests. They're not always tropical; they can happen in temperate climates too. It turns out that 150 inches of rain a year is a lot.
