This webcomic is Very Silly
New to me, anyway.
My (currently) latest avatar is Vicky Redd. Vicky (mostly) works as a lab assistant/tester for Ibisec, which seems to be a civilian-sector munitions developer/manufacturer-cum-"security contractor".
The world of Redd appears to be a bit like Spinnerette's - superheroes are legally recognised, and, in fact, are implied to be outside the law and to run their own parallel justice system, in which super-malefactors are incarcerated in asylums (not prisons) until they break out again.
Recently, Ibisec have taken to contracting Vicky's services to governments (quite lucratively). Armed with Ibisec tech and her own cheerful bloody-mindedness, Vicky has been doing quite well.
But she recently ran afoul of the super-types' rules.
Lots of fanservice and gainaxing and meta and meta fanservice:
=============
Oh, yeah - Vicky was born without arms:

First page here.
Current pages here.
=============
It's from the same creator as Chimneyspeak* (i thought the art looked Very Familiar) but a LOT less bloody, brutal and pornographic..**
=============
* Yes, a TVTropes link, not to the comic - no way that i'd link that one here and it's no longer available online anyway.
** So far.
=============
Only 68 pages so far; updates "Monday to Thursday" accto the title bar...

Ah yes, I've seen the ads for REDD on our main page; eye-catching, for sure. Probably something I'll have to check out at home, though, instead of here at work.

Dammit, another comic added to the list I must read....

"History doesn't repeat itself, but it DOES rhyme" - Mark Twain
"Always. Expect. Ninjas." - Syndey Scoville

Yeah, I went there from ads on the main page, (I actually have it at the top of this page, right now) and quickly got hooked...
It took Fairport to explain why the art was familiar looking...

I first saw an ad four or five days ago on the main site, and for the past two, maybe three here.Fairportfan wrote:I don't see the ads on the main page; i saw a link at some other comic...

Same here, I saw the ad what I believe was the first day the new site went up. It took me a minute to figure out why the whole archive to that point was posted on the same day.

Opera's blocking software takes care of that.
