Nobody cheated, and it looked like a tie to me.

So, I guess Mon CAN fly - that, or she threw herself to the ground, and missed....

No one Cheated? What's the poit?

why do I get the feeling that those two are going to be standing tall in front of Phix getting their respective asses chewed for showing their paranormalness in public?

The funny part is when they walk in, Bud is there saying, "What took you two so long? Pay up bitches!!!"

A cat always lands on her feet is how she made that landing. Though Shelly landed harder that Monica did. They need Amanda as well for the photo finish.

The people in Stella's just called 911 to report an earthquake. I wonder if the terrible twosome will offer to pay for the drinks they just caused to spill?

I just went to look up the cafe's website (again) - damn, now I can smell it, too!

If Stella's smells so yummy, then this may not be the last time Monica decides to head in that direction for a snack...

Poor concrete. What did it ever do to deserve that sort of treatment?

I don't know how Monica can move like that without a supernaturally powerful bra.

OK, a tie to the ground outside... but who will be first to get inside? (I think the race is still on until our ladies cross the portal.)

Sure looks like a tie. Plus it appears Shelly had the decency to hold down her 'Little Black Dress'. 8-)

..And in the café, there's Brandy waiting stating:" Only Grass-wheat (or whatever that horrible concoction is called) for You, youngladies. Cannot have drunk felines prowling St Paul.."

Or, yes, Bud : "Too slow. Now give me the most expensive they got here."

All jokes aside, it's great to see M and Shelly bond again. I always liked their interaction, the Nerd and the Noisy one.

Oh, wait, Wouldn't it be great if Phix and Nudge were waiting at the Café? And Nudge going : "yes, véry subtle, let's espècially nót attract attention by smashing the concrete..."

Shell and M are both quite rambuctious, so the MIB are going to have their work cut-out for them. I tend to believe that Monica is going to enjoy her Titan-ism quite a lot. For Shelley, it's all quite traumatic I gather, with that whole family-thing, but for M?? She's having a ball. That's already clear.

PS I miss Tina. I wonder how she is.
but, why 42?

Gotta say: The title of this comic is absolutely perfect. Also, for some reason I'm glad to see both of them are wearing flats instead of heels; I bet the wrong kind of footwear would make for a bad landing indeed.

I cement what you did there.

So, Monica simply jumped and let her momentum carry her to the target. Amazing judge of distance. Obviously, turning even a little bit Jaguar gives her a lot of power and toughness, right down to "the girls." Sudden momentum change like that would normally have a really bad effect on them. It was bad enough when she just did a pirouette before.

Looks like Shellinx has her transformation under good enough control to sprout wings and fly (or at least glide) without having to fully transform. A landing like that would blowout most shoes. At least neither were wearing heels.

"You know, I hate to be picky, but pumas aren't really known for flying."
- Mike Nelson, Mystery Science Theater 3000
Episode, "Pumaman," which involved an Aztec from the Andes (?) giving a magic belt to some guy with the dry look which unlocks his latent puma powers, including flying.

Seemed somewhat apropos.
