Especially when you have bad pet owners...The few pets of family members I encountered were rarely allowed human food, and it was strictly controlled. Even the pet food amounts were regulated(though once or twice a smart feline got away with extra kibble, and was appropriately disciplined after the discovery).
Yanno how some people have Angels/Devils for a conscience? I have a Dark Elf ShadowKnight and a Half Elf Ranger for mine. The really bad part is when they agree on something.
