The denizens of the fair and wonderful state of Texas do seem to make up a large percentage of the Wapsi forumites.

Not to mention, they are by and large, the most polite, honest folk I have ever met in my travels...at least the Dallas/Ft. Worth and Houston areas I visited...oh, and the folk I asked for directions when driving through El Paso.Jabberwonky wrote:The denizens of the fair and wonderful state of Texas do seem to make up a large percentage of the Wapsi forumites.

Oh, and they know how to make tasty hot sauce! <3
Yanno how some people have Angels/Devils for a conscience? I have a Dark Elf ShadowKnight and a Half Elf Ranger for mine. The really bad part is when they agree on something.

one thing I notice about the French is the same very strong pride about all things French...as a texan, I can totally relate---except about Texas, not France, necessarily....Julie wrote:And we're just flat out awesome!DinkyInky wrote:Not to mention, they are by and large, the most polite, honest folk I have ever met in my travels...at least the Dallas/Ft. I'll stick to Tabasco and salsa, thank you...The Arkansas Times wrote: According to the Subiaco website, their hot sauce ranks at around 250,000 on the Scoville Heat Unit scale; Tabasco brand Habanero sauce comes in at a comparatively measly 7,000.

Which is why I loved France. I could relate to them...and the ones I met while I was there seemed to have a fascination with certain things they associated with being Texan. I got in good with some for bringing over fresh pecans (and teaching them how to shell them with your bare hands), and I made some of the ladies in the family I stayed with very happy for providing pecan pralines...and the grandmother was exceptionally fond of the Texas flag bird house. Maybe it was just the little village I was in...and maybe it was because one of those villagers had gone to Texas as a foreign exchange student (which is why my aunt and I were visiting that village).txmystic wrote:one thing I notice about the French is the same very strong pride about all things French...as a Texan, I can totally relate---except about Texas, not France, necessarily....

I'm not actually new, I'm been around for 10 years or so, this is just a relatively new web persona for me. I can be a bit of a grump at times, but I'm not actually harmful. I like the new direction the story is going even though some of the characters are rather dysfunctional at times.

Been a regular reader for a couple years on PC, but a Wapsi Archive junky since I got a Kindle.
Finally decided there were some questions and comments I needed to throw in here.

I expected my Gravatar to makes it's appearance. User settings has avatar, default enabled. I got a newbie waiting period or minimum post count?
