My external drive - the one i run backups on and keep some important stuff on - has crashed. I'm hoping it's the USB enclosure.
As soon as i finish typing this, i'm taking the computer and the external drive apart and plugging it into one of the internal slots to check.
I have one SATA port available that i didn't before, because when i had to replace my DVD burner, i replaced it with a PATA one.
Grrr.
