THat is in excellent condition. All that needs is a replacement of anythng rubber (which will have taken a set and or perished), all new fluids, and a sympathetic refreshing of anything organic like the leather of the seats. Sadly, it may need reupholstering just because the foam and padding may have expired not because the coverings have.

I would dearly love to participate in that restoration. It doesn't need paint, it doesn't need anything but a sympathetic return to the road.

It's a completely different story from Victoria. She had been kept drivable even though FO had no longer really driven her much. Your friend on the other hand kept this gem tucked away and cared for it as needed, safe from wind, weather and rodents, until now.

I envy his son this legacy.
