So, now we know more about what The Deal was about... it sounds as if Brandi out-chessmastered the chessmaster!

Can you imagine what the delivery fee is like for a trip to the 11th dimension? That's going to be some expensive pizza.

You just need a pizza transporter.

Something tells me that demons and caffeine-crazed polar bears don't mix will, even if both love pizza.

"Not mix well" could have a number of different meanings . . .

I was just reading about the high crossover rate between GWS and Q*C, and here's another crossover thread. How many of you also read The Whiteboard? Something Positive?

I missed something... What's up with the polar bears?

Also, I read (past tense) Girls With Slingshots, and I still read QC (thanks to someone posting the "barn fart" page), but not the latter two.

It's a reference to The Whiteboard. The lead protagonist is Doc, an anthropomorphic polar bear who runs a paintball store in Alaska. He's the animal kingdom's version of a Spark... occasionally flies around on a rocket-powered couch fueled with pentaborane, consumes enough caffeine (in the form of gallons of Mountain Dew and some corrosively-strong coffee) to occasionally approach the speed of light, and has invented a pizza teleporter which usually works fairly well.

Oh my regular-webcomic list one can find Girls With Slingshots, Something Positive, Questionable Content, Misfile, The Whiteboard, Grrl Power and a few others.

I read The Whiteboard (and the Tinker's Guild forum, which is way crazier than the strip), QC, Girl Genius, and a whole bunch of others.

Yes to QC, Girl Genius, Gunnerkriegg Court, Grrl Power, and Whiteboard.

Also consider Empowered, The Order of the Stick, Looking for Group, Quantum Vibe, and Daughter of the Lilies (currently doing an art retrospective if you want design tips).

OK if we're going to have a webcomics bookmark showdown, y'all are gonna lose. I have 91 in one folder, 19 in a second folder and 47 in the third folder. Second and third folders are not everyday, one is literally labeled "Once a Week" as in updates are so irregular that it's not worth checking more than once a week. And so far nobody has mentioned a comic that wasn't in my bookmarks.

This is making me reminisce of the days before I started reading Wapsi Square. I started with one called White Hydra, but I think the creator stopped shortly after I got caught up on it. There was another I liked called Demonology 101, and "You Damn Kid" was another favorite of mine.

I'll have to go back to YDK sometime. Pretty damn funny.

But yeah, I got into Wapsi because of the 8 ball shirt and Topeztecal. I'm kind of wondering what he's been up to. It'd be kinda funny to see him as a substitute teacher at one of the para schools to make a little extra money. Not sure if the god of alcohol would ever actually come up short on his bills often enough to warrant that, though.
