Internet outage

Post by AnotherFairportfan »

no internet here till the29th.

and i've burned through my phone's 4G data allocation - never needed more than 2 gig in a month before, but using it to get online, e-mail and reading the news ate it right up.

even e-mail is slow as molasses; i have to use the Gmail app, which sucks.

so, for the next week, you'll be hearing from me a lot less, if only because typing on this phone also sucks.

And what are the problems with the Internet connected with and how long do they plan to carry out work to restore communication? Honestly, like the Middle Ages. Because of this viral panic, everyone is working in an incomprehensible mode. It would be better if everyone respected social distancing, and people worked in a normal schedule - everyone would be better off. And then the companies work it is not clear how, but the games of democracy have led to so many cases. You see, it is a violation of human rights to disperse everyone to their homes by force, and millions of patients are normal.

The problem was a two-month $140 bill when we had about $2.93 in the bank...

Today {well, yesterday now} was when we got our dIsability/Social Security checks

I understand completely; My primary Internet access these days is a tiny phone w/ a 5Gig data cap.

As of today I'm at 4.03G and have eight days to go...

It turns out that the problem is in delays due to the current situation around the world? It is sad. Because for the entire time of the coronavirus, it was already possible to arrange the timely transfer of checks for payment, salaries and other things. The mess is already tiresome.

no - we get our SS/disability on the fourth Wednesday of the month. always have.

the internet bill is xue on the 19th.

after this month the amount we have to pay when we pay the rent goes down $125/month {there was a fee that we split over our first four month rent} so,cafter one more month that the internet will go off a few days we should be able to catch it up

Yeah, with that pandemic, we've got both more people working online, more people struggling to pay their Internet bills, and less people working "hands-on" to keep the telecommunications infrastructure up and working. Perfect. I mean, when it started, my team and I were working on an investment project on this commercial real estate in Hamburg, and it was easy at first as we were all at work, in our office... but then, lockdown started, and we had to juggle between X's bad Internet connection, Y sharing it with his gamer sons, and Z's absence due to the maintenance works in his street taking more time than it was supposed to. It was... fun.
