Dan Mannix (author of The Fox and the Hound, A History of Torture and We Who Are Not as Others {a book about freaks, many of them his friends}) kept at least one mouse-eating frog as a pet.
Not even duct tape can fix stupid. But it can muffle the noise.

You do know that you can buy mice as feed for carnivorous pets at pet stores, right? Even newborn mice, pink mice, for smaller ones...

Of course; I've watched a snake eat a mouse (and a two-headed snake eat two mice), I know it's the Circle of Life. But then again, those were previously deceased mice, eaten head first. They weren't staring out of thier consumer's mouth with what really appears to be genuine terror.

It is one of many features that has put me off of snakes as pets.

The first time I saw it was here. Google:Images:spider catches bird for some insanely creepy pics.
And people wonder why I have arachnophobia.
Reminds me of one of my old avatars that I was only able to use for a short time due to public outcry.

I think you'd have avoided public outcry by flipping it so the spider was on top. Makes more sense, physics-wise...

Frogs and toads will eat nearly anything they can fit in their mouth, given the opportunity. They are also notorious cannibals.

Q: What's the difference between a catfish and a lawyer?

A: One's a scum-sucking bottom feeder, and the other is just a fish.
