Ah, but Paul didn't say that newspapers were useless - just that nobody reads them ;). I just finished varnishing a set of sale-display stands for some of my wife's craftworks, and believe me, I found plenty of use for our newspaper!

We know that the pen is mightier than the sword... according to the article you cited, a printed newspaper is a sword (or at least a good substitute for one).

I must have missed something. What did Paul say about newspapers?

Check out the link in Dave's post.
The link posted has no reference to Paul saying anything.

Yes he did, except he used Shelly to say it.

Okay.

I asked what Paul said.

I was referred to a link in the post upthread.

I pointed out that the only link i see is to a story about a newspaper, but has no reference to Paul.

I never said Paul didn't say anything.

Huh...I saw Dave's link to the comic where Shelly made the comment about nobody reading the newspaper. I'm assuming that's the link jwhouk was referring to. Was it not there before?

It was there from when I first posted my comment, and as far as I know the comment was not blocked from being visible.
